Aww! This was so sweet, I love it!

I soooooo want Shika and Genma to be lovers! They seemed like they went together so well there! Even if there were doubts and stuff, things still went smoothly enough, ne? Arg...I loves me Genma. You've got him really well too; most of the time you read about him being all crazy, like a sex fiend and stuff, but I like your Genma. He's still mourning Hayate, and that seems about right.

Also - LOVED the constant subconcious comparison to Gaara the whole way through. Shikamaru knows he wants to let Genma in, but he just doesn't think he does XD

This chapter was really great, truly. I know what you mean about it being more sweet than smutty, but that's a good thing. After all, you can't expect Shika to go through a whole day of whoring and not have someone's emotions get involved.

That was very sweet. I wouldn't mind at all if Shika and Genma end up together at the end of the story. Shika should have someone in Konoha who cares for him like Gaara does and doesn't just want him for a "fuck". I wonder what the three of them together would be like?

Darn it. Why is it that when I came back here you've already updated two times? And I couldn't agree more, smut is the way! ^o^ Sometimes I hate myself for not being able to just write smut without any plot or some lame reason (my friends call it OCD) XD and I thoroughly enjoy the smut goodness of your fic -- ESPECIALLY since it has Shikamaru in the middle of it all (he's just so damn sexy!).

I have to admit, the cigarette thing was kind of scary for me because I'm a smoker and have suffered the cigarette-crackling-making-a-speck-of-burning-something-falling-to-my-skin many times XD, but I still found the scene very hot (both Asuma and Shikamaru were so cool in there!).
