I loved the interaction between Naruto and Sasuke as well, it was awesome and I was nearly screaming out at the computer 'tell him already!' at one point - see? Emotional response, shows how into this story i am =) I'd like to be on this update list!

Wow. I must say I was delighted by this latest "awkward conversation" chapter! I don't think I've EVER seen a story where the character bites the bullet and maturely lets the object of his affection know it wasn't all just a silly misunderstanding. Oh my god, it's like Naruto isn't a scared 12 year old who would rather bemoan how Sasuke could never like him rather than let him know and see how things go. And Sasuke's reaction!! It was really cute. He's perfectly cool until "Naruto l-likes--me????" embarrasses the bejeezus out of him! Buwhahahaaha! I imagine he might be a little evil and bitchy to retaliate for his mortification... poor Naruto. Here's hoping Sasuke eventually decides "'tch. Fine. Whatever, loser. You better take responsibility for your idiocy and **** me real good then. >:/ I want lots of **** jobs, too, damnit." XDDDD I look forward to your next update. Chapter 9

Oh, this was good. It was so incredible AWKWARD!!!! OMG. But it was perfect. I don't really think you need to edit it. I really enjoyed it. I was so afraid you were going to let Naruto take the easy way out. But you didn't and I'm oh so happy. Now Sasuke has to deal with his best friend having a crush on him!!!

Chapter 9: Heehee, love the first lines from both of them. ^^ ♥ . . . . And then Sasuke gets pissed (I don’t blame him, poor guy). . . . I like how Naruto’s going over the whole situation from Sasuke’s POV. And I especially like the sentence: “Because anger as an emotion came to Sasuke only when he felt threatened and – Naruto frowned – afraid.” That . . . oh, I don’t know, I just love that observation. I guess it reminds me of the animal in all of us. ♥ . . . . “Almost-creases.” Good description. . . . (*snicker*) “Figured that the one day he didn’t feel like eating, Sasuke was treating him.” ^^ . . . . Well . . . this conversation is going well so far. ô_ô . . . . Hmm, I like Naruto’s dilemma here. This is a tough one. . . . (*giggle*) Sasuke just poked him with the chopsticks. (There should be a picture of that. ^^) . . . . Err, whoops: “I don’t I’ve ever seen you think so hard in my life.” I don’t what? ^^;; . . . . (*snort*) Sasuke, you asked him a question; shut up and let him answer it. 9.9 . . . . “How many more was he going to have to make?” Good line. (I’m picturing their actions very well.) . . . . (*snicker*) “Sasuke blinked and for a moment there was silence [. . .]” XD That was kind of a startling statement, Naruto. ^^ . . . . I really like this whole dialogue. . . . Ahhh, now we’re getting somewhere. The source of the timespan of the heat. Cool. ^_^ . . . . So he’s telling Sasuke the truth? Good luck, Naruto. (I don’t think lying would help at all, but . . . man, what an issue! o_o;) . . . . Hmm . . . is Sasuke really relieved or is he acting as a test? õ.ô . . . . Maybe not. õ.õ . . . . I forgot what happened with Sakura. I had to look it up again. Was it just her noticing his boner? (*snicker*) X3 . . . . Ohmy – O.O Sasuke, you have absolutely no right to say that to Naruto!! XDDD (“Will you stop pitying yourself.”) . . . . It is going in the wrong direction. . . . I like Naruto’s perception on this. Not OOC at all. =) . . . . Love the growing intensity. I’ll betcha Sasuke’s kinda scared as well as angry. . . . I really like Naruto’s explanation of the whole deal. . . . (Heh, I can kind of imagine Sasuke thinking, “Oh no, not you too, Naruto! You’re my escape from this – this magnetism that people have towards me! Ó_Ò” XDD) . . . . Uh-oh. “It was you?” (*sigh*) Yikes, it’s never good when someone makes a big jump and oversteps the truth like that. õ_o . . . . FLUSH! *_* . . . . ^_^ Now that all the tension’s gone (well, not all of it, but a good amount), Naruto’s starting to laugh a little. ^_^ . . . . Ooh, great ending sentence to that scene! =D

Hardest chapter? Well, you did a damn good job of it. ^_^ . . . . I honestly think the chapter is fine as it is.
