My favorite part was when Naruto was the only one who noticed that Sasuke wasn't bound. Brilliant writing. Stupid council. And excellent story. Can't wait for more.

Awesome story. I love this chapter. I think it's cool the way you portray Naruto as an excellent ninja, instead of an idiot. Can't wait for more.

I love Naruto in this. Despite his impatience and brash attitude, he's still a competent overall cautious shinobi. I like how he's testing Sasuke's limits and securing his domain before he allows Sasuke any liberties. He takes his responsibilities seriously and if Sasuke had any allusions to obeying the council (which I doubt), he would find himself in having a hard time to do so.
Great job on the fic. Looking forward to chapter 3. ^^

Oh that bastard! but then what else could he had said uner the circumstancesm, but still... Good beginning, though I don't really think the council has the full authority to send the Hokage away, but I don't really know.
Any way this will be really interesting to read.
