This was the first christmas story that I've read on this site, it seems like not many people are in the holiday spirit yet, it's really too bad. I always love finding AU stories that are well written as they seem really hard to come by and the characterizations of Gaara and Naruto worked really well in this. Naruto's gift ideas were so creative, I'm never able to come up with such thoughtful ideas. Although he was also so perfectly sad in this, knowing what we do of Naruto's childhood this isn't so hard to imagine this happening to him but I'm glad that by the end Gaara realised what a chance he had to make a good friend. There should always be happy endings at christmas, wonderful story I really enjoyed reading this! ^_^

Thanks for writing this. I wasn't expecting to find anything remotely good while searching for Gaara and Naruto fics (I've learned it is rather pointless to get my hopes up most of the time), but I found this! It was so good. Thank you again, thank you times a million, for writing some GaaNaru. Please consider doing more, because this little GaaNaruGaa fangirl is in desperate need of some good ficage. ^___^

That was so cute, you put kittens to shame and made my head 'asplode' into candy. Seriously, I absolutely loved it (and was very glad Lemondrops recommended it). I loved your style and the evolution of your story; it was really great. And, yes, I teared up a few time, and a few times I "aww"ed so loud, I probably woke up the neighborhood. It was wonderful, thank you so much for writing it!

I honestly was touched by this story. Several times I had to hide my face from my fam cause I was started to tear up. I don't usually cry unless its something deep. This was so cute. I wish they had gotten closer but hey it was perfect nonetheless. Thank you
