I think I would like it to be Kakashi and a frame job at the same time, maybe someone used a mind control Jutsu (Is that how it's spelt?) making him think he'd seen Iruka hurting Naruto or something like that.
But I like to make things complicated, so whatever you'd prefer.

i would say framed b-c kakashi can still be iruka's lover, but someone else love iruka enough to kill him then let anyone else have him

i LOVE kAKASHI LIKE A DOG WITH A BONE - BUT i'D LOVE TO SEE WHERE YOU CAN TAKE THIS IF HE IS THE JEALOUS LOVER WHO KILLED iRUKA.
Framing Kakashi would take the sting out of what promises to be a biting climax, no?
Also if the culprit IS Kakashi then Naruto and Sasuke will have experienced the same thing wherby they lose family at the hand of someone they love and respect. It will give a much deeper understanding and connection between the boys.
And a little Kaka angst is refreshing in this light.

ahhhh! im totally spazzing out right now! if the poll isn't over, id like to request that you frame kakashi. i understand that it is completely up to you, but PLEASE don't make me hate kakashi! id rather hate yamato. hes creepy as fuck. make it him if you can!!!!
