Thanks for the update. This chapter answered some of the questions of the previous chapters.

i knew itachi was alive and that the crow man would proably save him. is naruto going to try and do the legend thing with sasuke. in the rematch it will be supersensitive in love and improved sasuke vs the upgraded itachi that i think is going to show up after the crow man got through with him. i can't wait to see the next chapter.

You know, I'd forgotten about the genin (or was it pre-genin?) having to kill each other to advance. ...That explains a lot about the Mist nin, now that you've brought it up. Poor Suigetsu.

I can see Naruto's chakra being linked to his optimism. Interesting.

I like your Sasuke. Kind, but still an ass XD. 'Though coming to think of it, he had rarely fought alongside anyone in his life. Naruto was the only exception. ' How true...

I must thank you for your speedy updates. Your chapters aren't very long but the come out fast enough that I don't have any complaints. I'm really enjoying this story and I couldn't remember if I gave you a review yet. Very rude of me if I didn't. Keep up the good work.!

I like this chapter, but again it moves a bit fast. You spend alot of time in dialogue which is well written, but a conversation takes very little time in real time. It would help the flow of the story and slow it down a bit to switch POV's (point of view). This would make things clearer for the reader and for you. For example, there are a couple of discrepencies in the last couple chapters. There is Itachi's group in the west, two Akatsuki's in the east with Sasuke's group and Naruto in the middle. We know Naruto is about a day behind Sasuke, but you explain Naruto closing the gap by using the Kyubi's chackra. Naruto catches up to Sasuke and they fight the bird and Itachi. Suigetsu fights Kisame. I take it Karen and Juungo fight the two from the east. How do these two catch up and overtake Naruto? By switching POV you can tell the scene from Karin and Juungo's perspective and explain the discrepency away. What happens to the bird guy? Does he get caught in the blast of Naruto's jutso or does he run when Itachi falls? Now I am not trying to be mean and blast your story, what you do write is well written. I just think that if you switched POV's and possible threw in some more desciptive, scenery details, your writing would progress to another level. Again, thanks for writing this and sharing it.

this is where the sasunaru goodness is hopefully coming in at. i like how you put naruto in the same emotional state as sasuke when he met itachi again for the first time after the slaughter of the clan (if you get what i mean). i guess we are not going to find out if itachi is truly dead or not for a couple of chapters. i cannot wait to see the next chapter (i have high hopes).
