I had to stop at Chapter nine. Had to give my poor brain a break from the angst. I really get the feeling that you've been addicted before as I read this. Perhaps you haven't, but the life of a drug addict is so tremulous, and you caught that frighteningly well in this story. The ever moving pain of an addict's life is mind numbing.
Your description is absolutely incredible, not to mention the fact that you have a beautiful grasp on the characters and how they relate to each other. I'm so impressed by you. You've definitely made a fan out of me.

Yay! Jiraiya to the rescue, and a very sexy Jiraiya he is, too. I needed a break from the angst. Shikamaru needed some kindness. I hope Naruto will forgive Shikamaru (even though it really wasn't his fault) and that Sasuke gets a rabid weasel dropped down his pants. :)
