The chapter would have been eighty pages long with all the things I wanted to put in it and that just wouldn’t do.

I suspect I’ll have to revisit the DMZ in a couple of oneshots to fulfill my dream of what happens to them in the future.

It was just fun to write… mostly because ‘I’ wasn’t ready for it to end.

“Reunification!” The smile lasted for three point two seconds before the Uchiha’s blank stare scared it right off.
--I kid you not, my smile was scared off too!
Naruto sitting on one end of the conference table… at the President’s seat, and his younger brother sitting in his chair.
--Oh. My. God. Are they serious??? Itachi's gonna KILL em!
The dark haired man looked down at the little boy and nodded, “You are a lucky boy.”
--Aww, I'm glad Sasuke chose not to be jealous of the little kid and humor him. XD
I’m saying is the next time you play in front of a crowd, or speak in front of the board, I want to see my wedding ring sparkling in the lights telling everyone that you are taken.
--Nevermind! XD There's that jealousy right there. Woot, well done Sasuke!
Leaning back into the black leather chair, Itachi turned until he looked out on the city lights of Konoha as they illuminated the night. A deep chuckled filled the president’s office. God, it was good to be king.
--I knew it! Worse than killing them, he totally cut their post-honeymoon-bliss short!
*drowns in happiness* x.x Thank you once AGAIN for posting this epilogue! I'm going to have to read the fic ALL OVER AGAIN tomorrow morning (once again, I find the update sometime past MIDNIGHT...ugh, I hate having to work early). I shall wait ANXIOUSLY for those oneshots. Anxiously. *floating hearts*

OMG.. ‘Oh, hello, Mr Madara, sir… yes, just go ahead and manipulate my every action… I don’t remember the last time I thought on my own.’... hahaha, i practically said the same thing when talking about the latest chapter with some friends. God, right now I just wanna beat Sasuke over the head till he gets a clue. Madara's sory had a huge contradiction in it that makes me wonder just how much of it was even true.
Oh and I loved this story, it is without a doubt one of my all time favorite stories.

MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I LOVE IT!!! :-) So, so good.
I really liked the idea of turning the nickname from duckies to rabbits too. :-)
I also really liked how Itachi had a picture of Naruto and Sasuke and his kids. Even though he's evil, it's nice to know he still loves his family. ^_^
I would love to read any oneshots branching off of this story, as I'm sure many others will love to read as well! Thanks for the fun read. ~ Jelp

Well thanks for the epilogue. I really love this story. Itachi is what makes the whole thing work, and yes I am disappointed in the manga right now. When is that boy going to look underneath the underneath or however that saying goes. Thanks for writing and sharing this.
