Awesome!!! The purple flames idea is a really clever one. It honestly makes a lot of sense. Now he's just gotta be equally clever about hiding it, seeing as how I doubt anyone would would like the idea that the fox and he have joined forces.
I also just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the isolated introspective Naruto has in this chapter. Really, fantastic work. Keep it up! ^^

I'm so thrilled you've decided to continue with this story. =^^= (Also thrilled to be part of the reason. hehe.) Can't wait for the next chapter!!! :D
The change from Sasuke to Sai was a good one, as it allows for the story to parallel more of the canon. Although there were a few typos I saw within it... nothing too serious, just stuff that spell check wouldn't pick up because they form different words, just the wrong ones. (Such as 'heven' instead of 'even') Anyway, keep up the fantastic work! Can't wait for chapter three! :D
