I don't have time to sit down and read this all in one sitting, but I wanted to leave you a short preliminary review to tell you how much I am enjoying it. Sakura and Neji are such a sexy couple, and I like the interactions between them that you have written. Keep up the good work. <3

This has to be one of the best pieces of fiction I have read in a long while! Honestly! I am absolutely amazed at your wonderful characterizations of all the characters and how canon they feel. I've never really liked or understood Neji and you've made me a fan of his. He really doesn't get enough screen time in the manga and anime. While Sakura has an ability to be paired with anyone, provided that the author works it out so that its plausible, this pairing feels utterly and completely natural. It's a sort of natural pairing when you really compare the two. Both have an inner self, Sakura has her inner Sakura and Neji has his own that he keeps hidden due to restraints of his clan. Then to have added the element of both being marked makes them closer still. Neji does have an ability to demonstrate the art of sarcasm and Sakura can hold her own which leads to great scenes of bickering. I like that they're both so alike in many ways but in turn coming from very different backgrounds. While Neji is not in the "main" branch he still from a very privileged family and Sakura is definitely someone from "middle class." I was fond of also demonstrating how different the dynamics are from the the two teams.. one regards each other as family the other more as a duty. One last thing, I love what you have done with Sasuke! Honestly too many of us make him to be this bad boy who can be reformed with the love of a woman. It's a nice change of pace (and probably more accurate?) to see him as twisted, evil, and asshole-ish as he is (but I like the whole aspect of his realizing like a sort of Inigo Montoya and the six fingered man, that after Itachi died, there was nothing left for him, he'd gone down past the point of no return and seems ready to accept fate and the repercussions of karma which is nice to see as well). Though I will say that I can see why he'd be interested in Sakura because unlike Karin she's matured (not a fangirl), she's stronger than Tsunade, and honestly (I've always felt this) more capable than Sasuke or Naruto. Being underestimated (as a ninja and a woman) really toughened her up! That's all for now.. I did think it was great to see Sasuke target Tamari and Sakura (both close to the leaders) but in that they're really what I like to think of a "feminist" type ninja were Karin is a strong ninja but very trapped in her fangirl/let me service you type way.. I am done >>;;

Sigh...Gaara...how i love him! Anyways, great chapter! I can't wait to see what happens next. Poor Sasuke thought.
