Your right, its going to talk alot to get me to come around to Shika's mother. She is really starting to crowl under my skin, in not a very nice way. *grrr* I hope she has a VERY good reasion for her actions, because other whise I don't think I will be frogiveing her for her rude coments anytime soon. *cross arms, with a strun, stubbern look* But I guess you had to have someone, in the story, to give it a bet of angst, but that don't mean I have to like! *childish pout* Anyways great chap! I am loveing how your are protraying all the cheaters...even Shika's mother...I see her as a villeion of the story, so ya, tack the good with the bad. Every story needs some kind of villeion, or bad guy, or the story would be borring to read. Which it bad, very bad! I just really like the way you write this and all your other storys I read. You can keep it intreating, and fun, with out over doing it, with is GREAT! So update as soon as you can! XD Great Work! ^___^

More ShikaNeji!

Thank you for posting chapter 2 up so quickly. I really liked it. I kind of felt sorry for Neji when Shikamaru's mother said "How disappointing" about Neji taking Hinata's place. But seeing how nice Shika is to him made me feel better. I really like how this is playing out (no pun intended for the game of shougi ^O^) and how the plot is starting to melt together. I still don't know what's going to happen next but you have me wondering and anticipating the next chapter. Thank you again and update soon!

I have a lot of respect for Shikamaru standing up for Neji like that. Where did Hinata go? Please, not run off with Naruto - that's one of my pet peeve pairings, Naru/Hina, Naru/Sakura....two girls that don't work for him, lol.

Yay! This is the ShikaNeji you'd mentioned in Starting Fresh-lazy- right?
I was hoping you'd get around to writing it, and so far it looks really good.

The marriage thing does seem to get used a lot for these two, but I don't really think that's a bad thing as long as you can make it work. I like the way you write, it's simple, but not dumbed down, so it's really easy to enjoy your stories, and I'm sure you'll do a really good job on this one too.

[Incidentally...wouldn't Shikamaru and Neji make a great old married couple? I can't help but think that...]

Aaawh... This is really great! I particularly like the way you picture Neji and Shikamaru when they were little in the first chapter, both cute and smart. The second chapter is also a love ^_^ Neji should really listen to Lee on this one! Anyway, thank you so much for sharing this story. Can't wait for the next chapter! XD
