Hmmmmm.....I really liked the ambiguity and the depiction of Itachi's (Hawk's) character. Real authors don't have to tell, they show, and you did it perfectly in this one shot. You made the song freaking creepy. I don't think I'll ever be able to hear it again without getting cold chills. The ANBU characterization was spot on, and the setting was well articulated. I loved the dynamics between them, especially the way Genma moved to stop Itachi and betrayed the lack of trust. Dangerous in such a team to not trust one another, I would think. Really enjoyed this one. I love your one shots. Symbolism rules. The drowning training was absolutely wonderful, and the parallelism was perfect. Fabulous, darling, fabulous.

Well I have a short memory for things. I definitely enjoy the mystery in this story. It is almost sad and at the same time simmering anger, if that makes sense. Are you eventually going to let us know who they are? email me Tricia12241976@yahoo.com
