Yes please Iruka sensei! Teach the man to love!!! I love the idea of seeing how you make it happen! It captured my imagination... the hesitation of a person unable to understand something he's never experienced was so... real. I could understand so well... nyah! Please more?

This was wonderful! And no, I won't call Kakashi OOC. I'm beginning to think that every time one talks about "emotionally stunted shinobi", as often with Sai or Sasuke, it's just redundant. In the Naruverse shinobi are supposed to be emotionally stunted (well, the most of them efffectively are, anyway)and I'm beginning to think Iruka didn't make above Chuunin yet just because he isn't. So yes, your plot is completely believable to me (it could be canon, even if right now I think it isn't- not openly at least). Cookies to you, and update soon!

Artfully written! I totally get your Kakashi and the reasons for his mindset. I especially like the way he feels that everyone should be wary of him even when he is their comrade.
One of the great things about fanfiction is getting so many diferent takes on favorite characters. Looking forward to seeing how this progresses.
