I love this story please please up date soon. This sounds to be interesting along with Angst fill. I'm glad you took the time to post this for us to enjoy thanks.

Oddly enough I wasn't thinking of FYEO when I made that comment its just that the way you described them in that scene they seemed like more like wild animals than cats it sort of reminded me of a Discovery Channel episode. I thought it was pretty cool!

You asked for critique on characterization so here goes. I think everyone is pretty much in character except Kakashi. I am not sure if that was meant to be deliberate or not. Kakashi is not normally that much of an ass. Its like every sentence of his in this chapter was deliberately antagonistic towards Iruka, so instead of coming off as helpful or whatnot he came across as a prick who thinks he's better than thou. Whereas in the previous chapter he just came across as pretty informative, if not a tad bit boring. Like I said I am not sure if that was deliberate or not, so I just thought I'd mention it.

In regards to this chapter though I liked how even though they are different animals the whole getting ready for dinner setting was so family-like. I thought it really said a lot about Iruka and the way he treats them, where some are setting the table, some help cooking, others calling people to the table, it was really nice! And Naruto was absolutely adorable during his conversation with Neji when he was talking about Sasuke trying to eat him. Its like you could just picture the conversation happening in your head especially Naruto and all the hand movements and stuff. Looking forward to the next chapter.

i would agree that you did a good job on characterization (sp?), helping us to actually "see" the characters. i have to say my fave was the description of hinata, the shy Siamese; could picture in my mind as i read. when i can read and have visuals come to mind of what i'm reading, then it's a thumbs up read. ;-)

Haha... Neji is going to be trouble. ^^


Although when Iruka finally isolates Naruto and has "the talk" with him... you just know the reactions are going to be hilarious.

Huh, and I thought it was going to be a simple story of Sasuke bagging NAruto, then it'd be done. Glad I'm wrong. I'm really liking this story.

Awww, I don't like it when Naruto and Sasuke fight like this either! YOSH! You hit the pervert Naruto! He has no right touching your sacred area!!

I really, really love this story. I think, so far, you have kept a pretty good consistency with the characters. I like how Sasuke was in the bathroom and how he reacted to the whole situation, it seemed perfect to me. I also love that Naruto's reaction to the fact that Sasuke was still bleeding was I kicked your ass. That was very much in character for me. Because like Iruka pointed out Naruto doesn't realize he has really changed or anything like that so to see Naruto continue to act as he would have previously is nice. Iruka has stayed in character for me the whole time as well in that he seems constantly frazzled and rushed, which he would be with a house full of that many pets. And then to see Kakashi come in with his superior knowledge and ability to put just the right amount of information in at just the right time to make Iruka feel not only ignorant but irritated that this stranger would know more than he did about his own pets is wonderful.

And I have to admit the thought of Sasuke spending time like that on his tail had my bursting into fits of laughter. Though I do wonder if the two tom cats are wanting to mate with Naruto why they wouldnt try to immobilize him first. Yeah Sasuke wouldnt realize maybe at first being the first rut but I would think Neji would, right?

Anyway great job and looking forward to the next chapter.

I love this story! I dislike Neji anyway (stupid ugly jerk XO) so it's no surprise that I hate him here to. I hope Sasuke will destroy him (lol XD) or better it'll be Naruto cuz boy he need to become a little more independent ><

I love how you show Sasuke character, it was the best part, most writters can't do it this good ;)It was funny to read and at the same time it all made sense - respect for that! XD
