I am very much enjoying your story, I believe how you portray Itachi is very much in character if things were allowed to go along this line. I love how you have done Sakura's character as well, and the way you have things going, they seem so right for each other. I'm looking forward to the next chapter and hope it will come soon. I'm interested in seeing how Itachi will react to finding out about his fathers doings as well as how he will go forward with things with Sakura.

I really hope you decide to make another chapter in this story as its probably one of the only alternate reality stories I've read thats any good.

Will Sakura be spending some of her new free time developing a new juitsu or medical tech nick or will she only be sulking and confused by Itachi's behavior?
Is Sasuke just out of it in this story or will he end up snapping and joining Atasuki or something?
How will the Uchiha Clan react to Itachi presuming Sakura?
I'm not sure I understand the hole trust vs. self-preservation on the self-activating sharingan.

I am very much enjoying your story "Hunter". I absolutely love how you removed the Uchiha massacre, and I believe how you portray Itachi is very much IN character if things were allowed to go along this line. I love how you have done Sakura's character as well, and the way you have things going, they seem so right for each other. A kunoichi who feels she has to prove herself repeatedly to everyone thaws the heart of the self-centered Heir to the Uchiha clan. She's like a slap to the head for Itachi that let's him know there's more to the world than being an Uchiha and all it's "glory". Sasuke is very much in character too, the word I can think that most accurately describes him is "brat". You've done Naruto well too; he's the sun amidst all the brooding and angst. Shishui is just adorable and he plays his role well as comic relief and a kind of buffer between the Uchiha brothers and the real world. For all the wonderful changes you have made, taking the canon and twisting it (beautifully) to your heart's content, please DO NOT let the current manga get you down! You've already shown us you will do as you please and make this your own world and we love you dearly for it and wait with bated breath for you to continue. We are finally getting into some good Sakura/Itachi action! Please, for the love of all that's Naruto, please break through this writer's block and continue this awesome story.
