This is the only story I've read on here that's made me cry. Legitamate cry, parts 2 and 3 were amazing, but my favourite was definitely number 4. I'm glad he found them. Oh god! It's written so beautifully! I love it!!

It's refreshing to read a story written in the first person. Don't know if I can put it in words, but the whole feeling of reading the story so strongly from Kakashi's point of view like I was in his head, but still not really there, was a nice experience for a change. And you wrote it so well! Absolutely love the line "The door flies open and I’m starring face to face with the biggest mistake I’ve ever made." The rough language suits the narration more than well. The flow of the story is very nicely done, love the "that's not me" -> "this is me" pair, nicely done indeed. I like it how Kakashi just spills his true thoughts to Iruka without even realising, let alone being able to stop, what he's saying. The lemons were delicious, as expected from you ^-^

Ok, the whole silver cross thing was a bit uncharacteristic... wrong religion and all that. Kissing it... something way too American (or perhaps, Canadian ^.^) to do. Still, it was a nice detail. Great description of Kakashi breaking into Akatsuki's fortress. Very thrilling, ah the suspension. You really are an amazing writer.
Loved the entire epilogue. So romantic and sweet. You painted a beautiful scenery. Thank you for the read. I truly love your stories and I think you're ready to write original stories, so go for it! I promise I'll read them.

The film noir style works really well. You're not going to like it, but I think this story shouldn't be a fanfiction. You've created a whole new personality and surroundings for Kakashi (and the Uchiha), so he's not the Kakashi we used to know anymore. True, Kakashi used to be an assassin in ANBU, but it somewhat feels different. I think this should've been an original piece, with your own characters, even though originals don't usually have as many readers as fanfics. That said, I liked this story a lot. It has the feeling of old, hard boiled detective movies which I can't get enough. You're really talented writer; you can write fluently in different genres and you alway catch your readers' full attention. Yet another capturing story! I hope you'll upload the second chapter.
