Such a lovely chapter!
I felt so fuzzy inside when I read that Kakashi actually loves Sasuke more than anything, and would go through hell for him.

I wanted to cry and smile at the same time.
To see that a man, who isn't even the true father of a child, can love him so dearly, that he reacts so strongly about the child.
That's what I call true love between family.

I understand that Iruka would be jealous, who wouldn't when they couldn't get a person to show any type of emotion and another can?

I'm glad that Kakashi is opening up a bit. :D
And showed that even emotionless Kakashi is human too!

Ahh, poor Sasuke :( He's so confused! *sigh* Damn Itachi for being such a murdering bastard ^_~ And damn Orochimaru for living! Ugh. I have a feeling Sasuke is going to get himself in some trouble. Kakashi is going to be worried. I'm worried. lol. But you promised me a happy ending, so I'll try not to worry too much :) *huggles*

And poor Naru-chan! He's definitely not going to be happy when he ends up alone. However, now that I've read through Sasuke's reasoning, Naruto definitely needs to realize that something is wrong. It would almost be worse if Sasuke had pretended like everything was fine. *le sigh* I just wish they could have been happy from the start - but then I guess the plot wouldn't be half as interesting, right? :P You're so evil.

I look forward to more updates! :) Don't keep me in suspense for too long. ^_^

Brilliant, gripping psychological drama - I can't say it enough. Sometimes hard to read it hits so close to home.

I see that Sasuke's mask has been taken off, and now he feels vulnerable, no more like frightened.
He always wanted to hate his brother and just wanted his brain to think of him as a monster.
When in reality, he loved him, due to all those beautiful years he spent with him.
But with all those kind memories, it triggers him to relive the harsh ones.
'Tis true that when you have a chance to love, there will be a bigger chance to hate.

Now all the pieces of the puzzle come together, I suppose.

Okay, the only issue I have with this story since I last commented, written as well as it is, is the jump between fifteen and seventeen yeras old. You jump your chapters and time skips around too quickly and in a way that is hard to follow. Not to mention that the weekend getaway Kakashi and Iruka had planned while they were fifteen, and for the time just after Sasuke and Naruto had that visit with Itachi, somehow ended up happening when they were seventeen instead or maybe as well. It kind of ruins the effect of all those emotional moments in between that were so beautifully written. This is meant as a constructive critism because I know this is the second posting of this story. Otherwise, depite the annoying gap that has left and the sometimes confusing switches between past and present, this is a remarkable piece of fiction. I'm ready for more and have been following this piece devotedly since you began posting the second run. Good luck with it and I hope it turns out well for Naruto and Sasuke, you've made them into such an endearing pair.

XD I liked this chapter better. Everything is starting to clear up, and having read this makes the other chapters clearer and probably more enjoyable, because I'm not confused anymore.
Good job at clearing everything up (you planned this from the start, didn't you? You wanted us confused and saying, WTF?)
I like the meeting with Sakura. She's an awesome character, when she isn't being a fangirl and all that...
XD. I'm just happy now. Sasuke is still pretty messed up though. Although, in this chapter, it seems more justified, and rational. Probably because he's rationalising it for us, or you are anyways.
Well, I can't wait for the next chapter. I'm not confused anymore! XD XD XD! That makes me very happy, and I really am wearing a silly grin right now. Till Friday! Please don't reconfuse all of us!

And Right now, I can't think enough to write a proper review, so I'll leave and come back to write more...
Okay, basically, Sasuke's gone absolutely crazy... Naruto has no idea what's coming for him, and I am completely confused about Sasuke at the moment. Can't he be consistance for once in his fictionnal life? I mean, seriously. Is that so much to ask for?

This was just so gut-wrenching and heart-breaking. To read Sasuke's side of things and see how messed up he really was when they had sex for the first time. I'm now inspired to go back to the beginning and re-read the whole thing again with a greater appreciation
