Three lovely chapters to read and catch up on. I love how you're writing Shikamaru in this fic and how he was willing to confront Gaara for Sasuke. And Sasuke...denial is an interesting thing XD

Naruto has got to be one of the most patient and persistent person in this...he's so willing to keep chipping away at Sasuke's defenses even though Sasuke keeps calling him his retard stalker and the fact that he knows that Sasuke kissed him to only scare him off *chuckles* I love how Naruto went back after Sasuke was supposedly asleep for another kiss and how he caught on to the fact that Sasuke responded to the kiss before pushing him away. Sasuke don't you know that now Naruto will never give up on trying to make you his.

Thanks for the wonderful read...it was a pleasant surprise after returning home form my trip.

I like that Naruto keeps dangerous company. Naruto might be the ultimate "good guy," but he'll always have that something "other" about him which is why he's such a great character. The question remains... if Gaara's a killer in this too, I wonder what that makes Naruto?

Chapter fourteen is great. It's Gaara, but still modern- a modern Gaara? All of your chapters are good, but it seems like you put more into this one or something. Anyway, great job!

Hmm... I wonder if Naruto is going to retain a connection to Leaf in this story as well? I love the idea of peoples ties to hidden villages being associated with gangs. Great idea.
