Hilarious! I love it already and I'm completetly hooked. Naruto reminds me of being a little kid again and when they liked someone, they were mean to them. Cute!

poor Naruto, but well poor Sasuke too (naruto is so dense), “I’m gonna be grounded when we get married,” OMG i really like the way you write, are you going to add other new (NEW) chapters?

I was wondering when Suke was going to crack. seriously. He doesn't seem to be one for patience...
I'm glad you added this chapter in... It's gooooood. And Iruka is going to crack sometime.
I really want to see how Kakashi and sasuke are really taking this though. I hope that comes in sometime... They're so funny together.
Oh, and I have to say, It's awesome to have an author answer your reviews. Seriously. Makes you feel real special, like you're involved in the story for some reason.
Anyway, keep it up!!! And I have to say that Naruto seemed a bit less annoying and useless in this chapter. He finaly got tired of sasuke... It's a good change... Even if he still wants to marry him.

What I have to say: Poor, poor Naruto. Persistant or not, he's having heck of a time.
I think I prefer the chapters that are in Sasuke's point of view...
He is slightly less confusing, and all of that...

HELLO... sasuke is kind of rude and angry... VERY angry, and Naruto is... Well, naruto, i'm reading the epilogues in fanfiction, (Shikasasu...^^), 1 question: this new AS is going to be Narusasu or (maybe...) narusasunaru? well will be waiting next chapter and hope you're ok and uhm... take care ^^ bye

Yay! Sasuke is still super pissed. It's great, because his nasty attitude highlights Naruto's determination even more. Naruto feels less...whiny somehow. Not that he was annoying in the first version, but the way that he thinks seems more mature even if the thoughts themselves aren't. I really hope that makes sense. :) Two lines that I really loved:
"Maybe Sasuke just wasn’t a late morning person."
"If Sasuke hadn’t refused to unpack his sense of humor, it would have been funny."
That first one is so Naruto. Such an optimistic, yet somewhat ridiculous thought. The second one is...well, it's just wonderful. Says so much about how Sasuke is feeling at the moment without spelling it out. Nice and subtle, and funny too.
Also, I owe you some thanks. I'm writing my own multi-chapter right now and it wasn't until I read Chapter 2-4 (revised version) of Almost Sucks that I realized how much reading the first version has helped me find my own voice for Naruto. I think AS was the first AU I'd read that embraced Naruto correctly. I've seen other authors who try to show his optimism and energy, but it often comes off as annoying, or a much too exaggerated version of who he is.
So, thanks again! When I post my next chapter, you're going to get a mention because you deserve it. xD

At first, I have to admit, I didn't like Naruto's 'Love-at-first-sight' kind of personality, but then I remembered that that's totally him xD
To love completely without any sort of stopper and look just at a person without prejustice, yup, that definitely sounds like Naruto.
I'm glad I wasn't quick to hit the back button on this one, I really do like it.
Especially your wording, if it was anyone else with any less talent, I'd say 'fuck it' I wouldn't be able to read it. D=
But you make it cute, yet not soo agonizingly so.
I can't wait to read more~

Awesome chapter! I love Naruto. And we've leaft Sasuke's dark depressing thoughts for the amazing cheerfullness that it Naruto. Oh, and I decided I'd read this version anyway. Even if I have to wait till september, I think it'll be worth the wait.
And I have to say, poor Naruto. Everything is going all wrong, and he has little chance of making it right, considering who he's dealing with...
But, Suke will be glad to get his smokes back... Maybe he'll at least appreciate that... You never know.

hello, you send me a reply!! i was so happy :D... are you deleting the old almost sucks? so sad... well i have it printed!!! i like the second version too, is more detailed, like the robot incident, well i will be waiting for the chapter 3, and is not like my english is good or something because is not my native tongue and i know i can't write in english because my english sucks, but in chapter 1:" Noo... At fifteen you were too old to take of yourself", is not "too old to take care of yourself?" well will be waiting for next chapter (and the epilogues!!!!) i really like this fanfic, is one of my fav, bye!
