Whoa. This was a really good opening chapter. I'm seriously impressed.

While I have no idea what's going on, I'm thrilled that this is the kind of story where things will slowly be revealed as time goes on. Has Naruto merged with his demon? He seems to be slipping into demon traits a lot more frequently. Also, did Sasuke stab him to test him? I wasn't sure what was going on while that happened. Either way, excellent story. I can't wait to hear the reasons why Naruto deflected. (btw, the fact that Naruto has resulted in hiding like a fox in a den under the bed just made me smile.)

Keep up the good work!
