This story is one of my absolute favorites in the fandom. I was watching a prison show the other day and this popped into my mind - and I missed it a lot! I don't think it will ever be updated, which is a major MAJOR disappointment, because I would love to read what happens. Still, it's a great story. It's so powerful and wonderfully written. The format you've written it in is perfect for the story you're telling, I think, and the characterization and details are spot on. I really feel like I know these guys and I'm there with them. I'm sure that you (the author) are on to bigger and better things by now, but I wanted to stop in and let you know that people are still reading this story and still love it! Even though it's not finished, thanks for sharing it with everyone!

But wow, did rereading it felt good :)

Wow - the grittiness, the roughness - it's amazing. I finished that last 5th chapter and already I could review the events in my minds eye. The characters in person, the settings, the events, the emotions. I can basically envision a movie being made with this. The plot is fantastic, even the flash backs. The characters are so deep, hidden with so many nuances and Gaara is ridiculous in his mesmerizing ferociousness. I love what you have done with these characters. I cannot say that enough.

Bravo and many wishes for another chapter. We are so very very demanding aren't we?

Hey just wanted to say again how much I love this fic :D Also I was trying to find To Thine Own Self Be True and it seems to have vanished. Have you taken it down?

I've read the whole story, with the prequel... and all I can say is that it is tragic, bitter and really deeply emotional, not sloppy - thanx the writer! And I really HATE Naruto (he's usually a dumb innocent victim of vicious Sasuke) - he has really 'fucked up' everything, not only sasuke's life. Gaara is a very interesting, dark character , his presence fills the story even after his death - and it was well shown how his violence can be naturally combined with attachment and love.
Cannot wait, dying to read next chapter! Hope too Naruto will repent more convincingly - no 'i'm-sorrys' will be enough.

That is just too sad. (I really started crying in the end of the 4th chapter.) You have a great way of describing individual personalities and you have a talent to write short comical scenes. Well, that I was/am crying means obviously that I 'felt' with them (especially Sasuke) and of course one can only understand how fictional chracters feel if the author is a good one.
I can't wait for the next part ^^

theres so much to take in im lost in my own thoughts about what just happened,makes me wary of hotels with split doors.all he really needed to do was listen and it would have saved him a whole latta grief.lifes a bitch.hope you can update soon

I must say this is one of the best stories I have read in a long time. It mad me sad and happy, mad some times and a little confused at others, but I absolutely loved the reunion in the 5 chapter (which that is what is making me review right now ^^) I cant wait for the next chapter!

Oh dear.

I read through chapters 1 to 5, and I'm really digging the story. Very emotional. Mind you, the recemblance of certain scenes to those of the early seasons of Bad Girls is pretty striking (I'm talking about the story of Helen and Nikki here) and whether the recemblance was intentional or not, it fits the story really well.

Keep on writing, you're really good at it ;)

Oh my gosh. I found this fic yesturday, read it now. Oh my, at first I thought it was going to be bullshit, but honey, this is the exakt oposite.
And oh this last chapter, I thought it was the ending. My first thougt was "Oh no she didn't! how can she end it like this?!?!?" and then I see, a new chapter is coming up. But hey, you're doing a wonderfull job. And oh, what does Prez mean? :O
