This is such a wonderful idea for a story, I can't help but wonder why there aren't more clones gone wrong stories since it's such an interesting and obvious idea when you think about it. I have to admit that as I started reading the second chapter I was starting to worry that you were going to write the whole story from Kakashi's point of view and than at the end we would find out Hatake was the real one and we'd all be heartbroken. That's the interesting thing about this, even the Kakashi's have doubts and uncertainties and aren't always sure about what they know. On a lighter note I loved how snarky Kakashi could be, the bits of humour that are throughout the story were really great for making sure the story didn't become too terribly broody, I can't wait to see what happens next :)
On a slightly random note, it was actually your name that I recognized and made me want to read this story, your fanfics were some of the very first I read a couple of years ago when I first fell in the Naruto fandom. I didn't think you were writing anymore so I have to say I was thrilled to see a new story from you ^_^
