Okay, now I'm really liking this story after the last few chapters. you're making it so very dark and realistic to what would be the very real possibility of the destruction after ... well, after the destruction. Keep up the dark and lovely work! And feel free to torture Pain some more...

HOLY SHIT WOW.

Just want you to know that I love this story. It's dark and angsty, but not that whiney, cry in your green tea crap that we see so much of. Poor Kakashi, somehow I don't think Naruto will be as optimistic about Kakashi working at the academy...that's just the vibe I got...I could be wrong though. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Argh! Kakashi did his best, but I know he won't see it that way. I wondered how many of the attackers he killed; I guess if I were Tenzou I'd be looking for ways to convince Kakashi that he'd done his share of the fighting.

It was smart to make Naruto and Kyuubi one entity; compassion from the Hokage is less likely and makes Kakashi's emotional pattern believable because his feelings of worthlessness are reinforced by an authority figure.

This story is so sad .. But it's really wonderful

I've always thought that the worst torture for Kakashi would be what he'd do to himself. I'm enjoying your writing immensely. Thanks for the update.

I'm impressed with the AU you set up so quickly. I can definitely see it all in my mind; Kakashi's characterization and the logic behind his actions fit well within this world. I'm very curious to see where you go from here.
