Whhee! It's here! And I know I only got done reading it last night, before I sent it off, but I had to do so again. I said this before as well, but you are absolutely terrific with horror. I had chills down my spine when going through the hallway inside Naruto's mind, at every turn there seemed to be aonther level of suspense and horror to fill my head with ghastly pictures. Near the end there were the cute interactions between Naruto and Sasuke and then Naruto, Itachi and Sasuke. They were very well done. I was surprised at the level of foreshadowing, even if it was resolved later in the chapter, when you described Itachi's appearance, the necklace in the last chapter and then Sasuke's confession about having been slated for the carrier instead of Naruto. I liked that Itachi, while probably coming off as bad to some, really had a tough choice on his hands. Save his brother and damn a family friend who was perhaps aonther little brother to him, or do nothing and watch Sasuke become mired in a fate he probably saw as worse than a living hell.

Absolutely superb with this chapter. And now I'm eager to see what will come from Naruto's revelations about himself and Sasuke and what he learned about Itachi, Sasuke's possible grievances with his father and Itachi's research. I have a feeling it was Itachi that the demon wanted to send a message to, though how he would know about any of it if he is inside Naruto also raises an intriguing question. Perhaps Naruto has seen him since childhod under the influence of the demon and so cannot remember it? I also want to know who commited all those murders. I doubt it was Naruto under the power of the demon, unless Sasuke is lying to protect him. I really hoep it isn't as that would mean Naruto will feel guilty over kiling of one of his last remaining family memebers, so to speak. Jiraiya held things in his memory that I'm sure he would feel even more horrible about having destroyed, knowing that he could have had the chance to find out about them. Keep making chapters like this and you'll get an incrdible horror/suspense fic in no time. Very impressed. Update soon!

Wow, that was so good! The voice inside Naruto's head speaking to him, putting naughty and twisted thoughts about Sasuke in his head, was really cool (and spooky)! And the way Sasuke was acting towards the end of chapter five, all scared, but still holding Naruto to him... You've written it all so well! It was so exciting, it totally sucked me in... Awesome! When, trying to go to the next chapter, I noticed that there was no more chapters to read, I screamed a very long 'no' in my head. Yes, I'm very eager to read more of your story. xD Good job!

Oh my God... I was so uterly afraid to read this, but it turns out it's just incredible. Very well written and the suspense is way better than a horror movie. I'll keep an aye for this one, I really want to know what the heck happened.

You are correct. I do want to know why Sasuke is such a know-it-all. It's an unbelievably good, or rather very believably good considering it's you, take on an AU Naruto-has-a-demon-in-him plot point. It fits because the town seems to have supernatural attributes, sort of like a modern vampire story or a modern take on fairies, like Laurell K. Hamilton's books. I was pleasantly surprised, Cupricanka. I loved the interplay with the demon, Naruto and Sasuke, so well done, and the right amount of confusion, angst, and darkness. I don't view this as anything but a superior play on a modern version of Naruto, very dark, somewhat amusing and the hints of the fantastic and the supernaturasl are all much more subtle than most writers of those genres portray them. I absolutely find it refreshing and new and very well done. I'm so sorry I missed out on it for the time that I was away. But never fear, I shall not forsake this story! Ever. I only wish it was going to be longer (hint, hint, pretty please, with a gift of your choice of smut just for you? I know you like the kinky outdoors kind ;P, you yaoi lover you!) Anyway, I can't wait to see what Naruto does in the recess of his mind that houses the demon, his reaction and whether or not he can find the strength to fight free in order to save Sasuke and discover more about his past, his family and those murders. So chilling, dramatic and suspenseful. Update soon, please.

I wanna know why Sasuke is such a know it all....and this is sooo good, but I want to see how you will weave the legend of the boy with fake tails on him to the demon in Naruto's head, and did Naru kill Jiraiya??? but there was no blood and Sasuke said he was in his room, and how the heck does Sasuke know that Naruto has a thing in his head??? First hes mean and acts like Naruto is scum and doesnt know him at all then beats the crap outta him and now hes holding him and fearing him??? ok you soo have me all twisted and turning and wanting to know more fast...please update soon, ty for the awesome read, huggles and smiles Mija...:-)

Oooohh, the suspense. I can't believe it. It's so intense right now. I want to know what Sasuke knows about the murder, and if that guy they were chasing wasn't the murderer, then who was it? Who was the murdered guy in the car? I'm not even sure, from what little desription you gave, who it is from canonm though I have an inkling about him. Or maybe it's a good OC? I know you would write one really well. Now I'm so curious and it's getting so good with the complication of Naruto feeling attracted to Sasuke and wanting to know something, anything, more about him.

I also want to know why Kakashi is being such a small-town cop prick. I mean, there was no other reason to pull Naruto in for so long, and keep him essentially a prisoner since police need to have due cause to even question someone, than that he was new in town and didn't have anyone watch him sleep at the inn. I hate cops like that. I don't think I like this Kakashi right now. I hope it gets explained more later. I hope he has some kind of alterior motive, like maybe to actually protect Naruto. or something, though it doesn't seem likely with how suspicious and jaded he's been so far. I want to know more about Itachi too. If Kakashi knows enough to maybe suspect him, then what happened to him and his family to make such a loose canon?

Urg, it's just questions and more questions, which is great for a suspense story, but bad if you want the answers NOW! So, you know what I'm gonna ask next right? There's an update in the future yes? Sometime soon maybe? Right? . . . Right? ;P

Ha! I was just waiting for this story to grow dark! ^^

I wasn't sure in what direction it would go, but its entire build up has been creepy thus far. You could feel that something was going to happen. Whither it be supernatural or mystery, I wasn't sure. No Jiraiya's dead!!


Keep up the great work. I'm glad this story wasn't abandoned.
