Really love the idea behind your story and like the the fact your expanding on the world of Naruto. I wonder if his friends are looking for him, and if Itachi will eventually return to the village. I like the fact that Itachi is protecting Naruto till the collar gets removed.

I would think Naruto also has a dark side from his horrific childhood of verbal abuse and isolation. Even in the canon Naruto admits that he probably would have turned out like Gaara if it weren't for Iruka acknowledging him (at age 11!!) and later eventually developing relationships with Team 7.
Anyway, keep up the good work! I love the idea of Naruto embracing his dark side and seeing Itachi freed from the Akatsuki. ^^

It seems a interesting story so far but there wasn't enough in it for me to be completely hooked. I'm not saying what you had hadn't piqued my curiosity but I need to see what happens next to see if I'll become instant fan or not. I can't wait to hear more from this though. So good luck and hope you gain more reviews.
