Whoa! I did not see that coming! I'm now wondering what you are up to. Besides twisting and turning the plot as you usually do, to completely ensnare your readers. It's what keeps us all coming back for more you know. Also, call me a pervert if you will, but isn't it time someone...anyone...got a little? Please? Kakashi's not playing is he? It felt like Pein wanted Kakashi to accept his offer a little more whole heartedly. But Kakashi's entire belief system has been turned inside out and while the quips about the Akatsuki "uniform" were enjoyable, I'm trying to imagine the thoughts he must have been having that would have led him to make such blunt statements about his feelings on the matter. It seemed almost an after thought, you know? I feel certain that it would have been even more comical realizing, that with all the emotional issues he had to deal with and all the intospection he had been doing that during that time he had a moment to even consider what he might have to wear. Now, THATS funny! Too bad too, Kakashi would have looked "bitchin" in a mesh shirt....(wipes drool off keyboard). Maybe later he can "secretly" try on one of the, (now what was that word again?) oh yeah, Gaudy Atatsuki Cloaks and then get caught by Pein when he has it on. Teehee. I will see you soon! Poor Itachi. And poor Kakashi, it's hard when what you think is right is turned around on you. It sort of felt that way when the truth was revealed about why Itachi killed his clan in the manga. Kakashi's going to realize that had Obito not died in battle protecting his village, then that same village would have sentenced him to death mearly because he was an Uchiha. This was a very intense chapter. But a pivotal one none the less. Marvelous work as always. I can't wait to see what happens next. Beth

HOTNESS-ON-A-STICK!!!!! I didn't expect to get so lucky as to see a lemon between these two before Itachi spoke to Kakashi. That was so sweet and loving. You've outdone yourself once again! I am looking forward to the upcoming conversation between Kakashi and Itachi. I know it's going to be a tear-jerker. Thanks so much for the wonderful update. beth
