wow kisame really has is bad for itachi lol.

Awww! Kisame is so protective of Itachi. I love his character in this fic. He's so real, sweet, tough, and funny. He's the perfect compliment to the fragil Itachi. You've done such a great job so far. I am loving this story. I can't wait to see what happens next! Squeeee! Later, Beth

I just love "pissy" Kakashi. Although he did get a little too close to stepping on Kisame's toes when he got snarky about Itachi. I can't wait to find out what happens next. And I absolutely agree that Iruka is too smart to be played by Kakashi unless he was emotionally involved somehow. Pein is not going to like this one bit. Wow! I hit the jackpot!!! I go out of town, and come back to three new chapters! Things are getting interesting. I was afraid for a moment that Kakashi wasn't going to forgive Pein. It suprised me that Pein didn't seem to feel very remorseful about the drug trafficking and it also didn't seem like he was going to have it stopped. But it looks like he would do anything for Kakashi. Another thing that stands out, is that Iruka seems to think very lowly of Kakashi ever since he saw both Kakashi and Pein in the alley. Iruka seems to feel his morals are superior to Kakashi's. But in reality, Iruka might be the one to participate in a physical relationship without being deeply emotionally tied to the other person. I don't think that your Kakashi would or could do that. Pein loves Kakashi so much he's reluctant to allow Kakashi to approach Iruka in that manner even though it would be the easiest way to get the information he's looking for. I may be way off base too, and if I am, just let me know. I can't help but try to predict where this story is taking me. I'm usually glad that I never can do a very good job...LOL. Nice tie-in to the present! I enjoyed reading this recent update, and it seems as if Pein-samas rise to glory was a little reminiscent to the French Revolution, ne? Great job...such realism. wasn't expecting an update this soon, I thought the muses were still recuping...LOL. Glad to see they are quite resilient! I look forward to the next installment, I can't wait to see what you come up with for all of us...

That was perfect. I've never read such a sexy Kisame before. To have him make Pein prepare himself was mouthwatering! I like the idea of his much larger body dominating Peins smaller one. I can't wait to see Itachi being taken by him. (HeeHee) I also liked the reference to Peins less than pleasant past/upbringing affecting his stature now. I don't think I mentioned this before, but it might be interesting to delve into what your perception on his past might be. Excellent job on this update, and I'm looking forward to the next.
