Wow. I must say, this is not a story to be read in one day. By the end I was all but in tears, my core shaken from this fanfiction. It's rare that I find something that touches me this way, and it was all accomplished without the three cliché words. This story has a very special place in my heart now. Thank you.

Love this story of them coming together. I was suprised by this because I usually only want Kak with Iruka. I think this story written any other way would not give it the impact it has here.

i can do nothing else but stand and clap, breathlessly. i haven't read or watched naruto since ep. 150, roughly. it's no use. its real story can sadly be never as good as the fanfictions written of it, of which yours is one absolutely breathtaking example.

Wow your last words were so deep the whole thing was really deep and I love that stuff not the depressing kind of deep but a joyous deep I'm tired of depressing and you really put something else in the undertones of the whole thing it was just awesome a great read I could barely stop reading it because it held me in a place of woah and awe and cool stuff like that I've never heard the song you used but I did have my own soundtrack, use somebody the paramore cover and a song wide awake from kitchie nadal no real reason just that that was what I was listening to but it did inhance the pure pleasure of just reading this story wrapped up in my own little bubble of this world of emotions I was brought into so, great story I also love the pairing and you do a great job of Sasuke/Kakashi bonding, and I'm glad I found the story. And yes it did help me open my eyes to better possibilities in life.

I really have been enjoying this story - you're probably one of the more talented people writing fanfiction for this fandom, and particularlu this pairing. But may I ask - what sort of post-canon universe are you envisioning here? I mean, does Kakashi know about the whole thing with Itachi being ordered to kill the clan? Does Sasuke? How close to canon are you staying?

Just something that's been at the back of my mind.
