I read this last night but had to process before I reviewed.
I am almost speechless here with the dynamic that you created with these men. The way you took two unlikely characters and made them fit so well together is amazing. You also successfully took these two men from the universe of Constructive Possession and kept them true to their nature even in this type of scenerio.
The "commanding" Nara and the "begging" Hyuga. Wow. I expected it, but then again didn't in this way. I kept expecting to see some of the same characterization and interactions between these men as the ones you created between Shikamaru and Neji. It never happened. You are amazing!
It galls me how you present these Hyuga men as "prideful" and "untouchable" yet are brought to thier knees by the Nana men. It's like the Nara men own every piece of them: mind, body, heart, and soul. And the Hyuga men so unashamedly submit. It is absoltuely beautiful.
Now on to the obvious. Like Hiashi, I almost needed a nap after I read this. After reading the "main event" I will probably need a doctor, STAT!
