Whoa was that last bit sort of a small confession on both parts. Naru doesn't want to leave Sasu left out so he'll sacrific his own for him to be happy. Sasu wants to know if the feelings he has can be love... sigh nice chapter.

I love the story I can't wait until the next chapter!

I'm really, really enjoying this story. Your interpretations of the things that have happened, and things that could happen, and how these characters feel about/react to them is always very insightful to me. This latest chapter (21) is my favorite so far, with Sasuke telling Naruto about Itachi (without calculating it properly), Sasuke showing more emotion about it in front of Naruto (even if Naruto couldn't see his tears), and the way they both comforted each other. And, of course, Naruto's promise. It made my heart ache, but also made me happy.

I wonder what Sasuke's reaction will be to reading The Gutsy Ninja.

Aw... I felt so sad when Naruto flashed through the fear of loosing his house guests. Also, Sasuke wants to ask Naruto to join his team? lol Good luck. I hope they all stay in town with Naruto. ^^


Also, I loved Karin's self consciousness over her scars.

you have excellent writing skills. However, Sasuke and Naruto feel very OOC, more so in this chapter than anyother. I think the reason is they're way of speaking. both are very skillful, and well worded. they don't use contractions or slang. They are too elegant. I think if you reread, you'd notice that no teenager, much less a teenage boy would speak like that. not even Sasuke.

I would pick up some of the manga and read some of their dialog. get a feel for their individual ways of speaking- in this chapter it could have been a single person talking, there was no difference between the feel of the two.

otherwise, it's an interesting chapter.

Thank you for yet a great chapter. I as am fellow writer know how tough it is to update fics, so don´t overwork yourself, we, your fans will be here, waiting somewhat patiently heh heh.

I like the new development of this story, they are getting closer and more open...and Sasuke, so cute, is interested in gay couples heh heh, i wonder how long it´ll take before he begins to seriously hit on Naruto and kiss him X3
