As a history major with a particular interest in the Nile Valley civilizations, I'm very much enjoying this fic. And not only for the setting. The story itself has been compelling enough to have me checking fairly regularly for updates. All I can say is keep it up :D
P.S. In case you weren't aware, the ancient Egyptian scimitar is called a khopesh, and the length of the mummification process was 70 days... to match the rotation of the star Sirius.

I have nothing but good things to say of this story.
I love the creative set up and the seamless blending of it all :D The characters are love ^-^ And the flow is lovely. The plot moves with its own pace and twists as it wills - and it's perfect ;)

As always you give a taste of something awesome and leave me craving for more. Like you said you truly are the queen of cliffhangers.
I like how your naruto is playing out. And the uchihas seem to be ic (well.. as much as an Uchiha could be in ancient egypt). Your use of mythology mixed into the plot remains excellent.
I cant wait for the next chapter..
