This is great! The set up is perfect and for some reason I find it an interesting flip to think of Minato as a poor miner while Naruto is the one making a name for himself. I'm also really pleased that he didn't just jump on the stranger in his bed like an idiot. I so love a smart Naruto. It's uber sexy. Now I'm really curious to know how Gaara knew enough about Naruto to readily agree to this. (Or he could just be a slut who agreed just for the hell of it, but I didn't really get that feeling.)
