Finally caught up after 'Into the Fire' caught my eye. At this point, I can understand Kakashi's paranoia given everything that's happen, the lies (both spoken or simply silent), and what have you. Unfortunately with this latest act by Iruka no less, I don't see that growing fear dissipating any time soon. If Jiraiya wasn't already there at this point, I'd almost root for Itachi just because he seems the safest for Kakashi's state of mind. Iruka's actions are beyond surprising and off-putting, despite whatever good intentions he thinks he has. Ah, but I'm just rambling because it's been awhile where a story is so engaging I feel like discussing character personalities, development, and motives. You've done a wonderful job in bringing these aspects out to make for an intriguing read, of which I look forward to seeing more of. Thank you for sharing.

Sessha you have managed to make the green beast of Konoha faint rofl. That was so funny rofl. How unyouthful of him to faint.
What is wrong with Iruka!!!! He's acting like he's dealing with children. I can't believe he took the baby and left like that O.O He loves children so much it's blinding his judgement *so sad*
The next chapter is going to be so exciting, I can't wait ^_^

Iruka is being a BITCH!!! i really liked him, but now he's showing his assholish side. I hope the pack rips him a new hole!!!
Will ibiki ever gain his memories back....AND will Kakashi stop being such freaking paranoid ass when it comes to the people that truly love him.....I swear I just want to smack the HELL outta him!!!

These stories of Kashi and Ibiki have grown on me and as individual characters they are so strong and they need as much love and happiness as possible. but I know you'll always make the end worth it ^_^

Sometimes I wonder if you actually like this pair or if you just like to put them through turmoil >.>

omg where are you taking this? I don't thnk I've ever seen you put Kashi and Ibiki through so much turmoil. It's crazy lol. I hope Zetsu doesn't find Kashi and take him home O.O
His bloodpressure will go through the roof if he finds Ibiki with Kisame.
I'm excited for the next chapter. I really like how you explore the depths of their tough personalities. And I love the idea of Jiraiya and Itachi, just so strange, but the make a great couple.

oHHHHHHHHHHH my goodness that was going so well till all the chapters stopped please hurry and update don't kill itachi either I need him to live I wanted orochimaru too live but nahhhh he died I wish you could bring him back I love how you make the most tainted people so human keep it up love your writing style and waiting for you update.

You always put kashi through so much heartache :/ I wouldn't have expected Ibiki to be so harsh, he does have little patience but still that was some hurtful stuff >.<
