Ah, hello, my suggestion would be not to limit yourself to male only characters. You have already in a previous chapter (the one with Rin settling in) pointed out that they may well recuit more women. I would put forward fiesty characters like Temari, Tenten or Ino. (Please, I beg and plead, not Sakura or Hinata. Although you have already used Hinata indirectly, so you probably would nt use her anyway.)

If you stick to male only cats I think you will run out of Naruto characters.

Eh, well, thats my suggestion, it may be taken or leaven, spiced or sweetened with season-its your story after all!


Please continue to write this story. I enjoy it very much. The story is fresh and original, the character traits well thought out.

Why not take one of the Akatsuki members and make him cat Deidara, and Sasori, where both beautiful, and I don't know that you have mentioned them.

This is your fiction so you can grow your character and use them however you want. Sai is sexy as hell, but he looks too much like Sasuke, I would love to see Sasori in this fiction I have always thought he was almost as hot as the grown up Gaara.. Another character that is sexy as hell is the new character Ukataka from the most recent anime episodes, he is the guy that blows the deadly bubbles....he is really good looking also looks a bit like Sasuke, but has a much leaner physiche. Hope these suggestions help you some.

I like the idea of Inari. I know you'll pick the best candidate for the job:) As always I loved the chapter ^_^

My vote is for either Kimimaro Kaguya or Menma from the filler. Kimimaro because of his rare beauty and his fierce sense of loyalty and Menma because he, too, plays that (ocarina?) weird instrument. Additionally, Menma is a little blue-eyed blond so he'd be a weird amalgam of Naruto and Sasuke. Don't know if that's a vote for or against him catting for Uchiha; you're the boss. ^_^

Thanks for the quick updates. I think the whole getting settled in bit is interesting while everyone is trying to redefine their roles. I take it the crew will be back in space in the future.

As far as cat suggestions, there are two minor characters from filler arcs. Memna was a shinobi that became very good friends with Naruto who died from filler anime episodes after Sasuke leaves but before Naruto goes with Jariaya.

Then there is Sora, a character from a filler arc in Shippuden. He was from fire temple and was experimented on by his dad. He was given some of the Kyuubi's chakra which almost made him a jinchuriki like Naruto. At the end of the arc he lost the kyuubi chakra and went on his way, so you wouldn't have to make him a hybrid.

As for cat ideas...how about Tsunade younger brother....Ibiki's younger brother (I think he went to work for a mob boss)...or the young leader from Waterfall Village??

There are so many choices :)
Hayate - He can be a young friend/cousin of Genma's. I do think they look alike.
Inari is a good choice as well. May be he can be around the same age as Konohamaru.
Udon and his runny nose will take some getting used to, even if you cure his permanent cold he's an uber nerd >.> Besides Shika is already the brain of the fic :)
The new guy in the recent filler Utakata, he looks like Sai but has emotional issues when it comes to trust. (He may have issues with swearing to Uchiha)
There is Sora who sorta had Nine tails power. But you don't want to infringe on Naruto's uniqueness. But if you remember that filler you can incorporate it well. Sora can have genes like Naruto that don't agree with him and they get extracted by Rin... (is that too much??)
Kiba is a good choice as well, Naruto will have a best friend besides Shika. Hopefully Shino will take a liking to Kiba ^_^ (I just don't want Shino to be lonely lol)

Ibiki has a younger brother, though I don't recall his name. He was in a filler episode with a relay race and stuff. And have you considered Suigetsu or Juugo? I'm guessing you need them to be around 14 or so, and I'm not too sure how old they are, but they could work in a pinch, I think.

Btw, I really like this story. It's very detailed and unique, and I really like your Sasuke. I can't wait to see where this goes. Please keep up the great work!

I do like the idea of Kiba "catting" (what an oxymoron) but I do agree that having akamaru as an hybrid could make Naruto less special unless akamaru was one of those less than stellar hybrids and could then make Naruto seem even rarer amoung his own kind.

Sai (or maybe the guy who used the bone blood limit, you know Orochimaru's goon, he was really hot but died too soon) might be good as in he is a spy who is pretending to cat so he could relay information to any of the two villains you introduced in chapter 41. Some conflict within the crew would really spice it up. (atleast I think)

and if you ever use Lee you should totally make him a clone of Gai (he really is XD).
