OK, I have a few things to say about a few things and I guess the review will be last.
I have been on this site for awhile and as of recent took a hiatus from reviewing for various reasons which is beside the point, but I had to come out of "review retirement" to review this fic. LOL!
I cannot for the life of me understand how this fic and the other Naru/Sasu that you posted here got such few reviews. I am utterly and completely speechless, daunted, and mortified! Logically, I cannot come up with an explanation. I can't! Ironically so, I came upon you on ygallery while reading two authors who left this site for the very reason of feeling under appreciated for their talents through lack of reviews. The ONLY reason I didn't review your stories on ygallery is because I cannot access ygallery on my desktop because of my internet server and can only do so through my phone which cannot hold much data so reviewing on my phone is troublesome. So imagine my surprise and utter joy when seeing that you posted your story here.
And really I could care less if this is review etiquette or not, but I soooooo encourge you to post Undercurrents here under the general male/male section. Not AU or Shika/Neji. It will not get the coverage. I am an avid fan of the Shika/Neji or Neji/Shika - I have no preference and that fic blew my freakin mind! As a matter of fact, I have a friend who is an avid Shika/Neji fan and cannot see Neji as anything but "uke" but read your fic and her ultimate analysis of Undercurrents - "Beautiful". But I digress.
I am so utterly frustrated that this story has 1 review and so few votes. I am not so eloquent as to give this story the justice that it truly deserves. And the beauty is that it is not the SEX. I totally understand that BDSM and D/S is not everyones thing. But the way I see it, this story and the other is so not about that. It's like in the Ninjaverse - you have to see what's under the underneath. Again, that's my interpretation. Undercurrents brought me into this "universe" that you have created, but these stories are breathtakingly beautiful. And whether or not you will continue to post on this site regardless of reviews or not, I don't know. I just hope that it doesn't deter you.
