I'm really glad you hadn't dropped this story. Things are finally beginning to unfold and I would've really hated not knowing what actually happens in the end.
I see Kakashi is getting sloppy with shoving away his feeling towards Sasuke, or those feelings are finally getting too much for him to ignore.
I'm still looking forward to the Kakashi/Neji face-off. LOL

it's been a while since I last reviewed, and for that I apologize, but that doesn't mean I haven't been following and enjoying the updates.
I thought Sasuke's dream was intriguing, and I can't wait to find out more about what it implies.
Shikamaru's offer was quite surprising even though it shouldn't, it was expected of him to do something like that to save someone two of his friends seem to care about.
I can't wait to find out how Sasuke managed to stabilize his chakra, and I'm eager to know more about Kakashi's internal turmoils about his feelings towards Sasuke, and maybe a little more about how exactly Sasuke feels about Kakashi.
hope we'll be reading more about Neji next chapter, I bet there is a lot he and Kakashi should talk about, and I'm still hoping for some NejiShika action. LOL

Sorry for the late review.
I almost missed the update due to several updates in the same day, I didn't see it. that said, I agree to the idea of update notices, I believe it helps if one couldn't visit the site for a while for whatever reason.
Anyway, Shikamaru & Neji. LOL
Okay let me tell you first that these two are my OTP, so I tend to read too much between the lines. But I sure would love it if they turned out to be a couple ^_^
can't wait for the next chapter to know how Kakashi will deal with Sasuke's bruises, and how Sasuke will counter, and more than anything what will happen between Neji and Kakashi the next time they meet.
Keep up the good work. ^_^

I thought this chapter was quite nice, it kinda hinted why Sasuke's chakra is being weird.
I liked how Kakashi is trying to ignore thinking about how Sasuke makes him feel.
And I would certainly love to know Sasuke's own motivations, is it love, trust, lust?? Can't wait to find out more.

I was surprised you updated to soon. but I was glad about it :) the last thing I read before I went to bed last night.
Kakashi's anger is starting to get the better of him. he's starting to lose his cool and act rashly, I like how the slip of control was gradual.
and man do I love the idea of Neji landing a hit on the legendary nin. GO Nej! *cheers*

so happy you decided to update. to be honest I'm barely a Kakashi/Sasuke person, but your story intrigued me. Sasuke seems to have a lot to deal with and I can't wait to find out more about that.
your choice for Neji being Sasuke's only friend was quite good and reasonable, and I'm a sucker for anything Neji-related even if he wasn't the central character. I liked the blocking tenketsu part to control the chakra disturbance. I'm seriously eager to read what Neji is going to tell Kakashi next chapter, and is the relationship between him and Sasuke is simply friendship or is there more to it than just that.

Eek, I haven't reviewed the last few chapters! I feel kinda bad ^^; Because I really do love this, you know. I'm always excited to see it updated :D
Oh, I'm so glad Kakashi decided to cross the line! I loved the... the mood of their physical encounter, how it was like walking on eggshells sometimes, and others, it was just so good and easy and hot. Pf course it would be that way! Because even though Sasuke *wants* it, he's still Sasuke... And even though it's *Sasuke*, with all his neuroses and twitches and craziness - he still *wants* it. And that came across really well :D So did his effect on Kakashi - ha ha, I wonder for how much longer Kakashi can keep lying to himself.
Especially with what's going on now! He's worried, and I love how different his concern is now than it was, say, when Kakashi came back from his mission chapters ago. I have to say, I'm really curious about what's going on!
And the dream sequence - that was cool, and I liked the way Kakashi got sucked into it ^^ Very very dangerous, waking someone like Sasuke up from a nightmare XD And I wonder if, had it been months earlier, Kakashi would have considered that before he rushed to Sasuke's aid ♥
