(3) I had forgotten about this story but it was nice to see these two again :) And a surprising turn with Neji not only helping but harbouring Sasuke as well, he doesn't strike me as someone who would blatantly ignore the rules and laws of Konoha. I do like that you show that he does have his moments of uncertainty, he's always capable of course but still trying to figure out what to do and how to go about it. Let's be honest this can't go on forever and at some point he's going to have to make a decision, both of them will have to make some decisions.

One of the things I did notice is that there are times when the both of them seem rather young, you forget sometimes that these guys while trained ninjas are still only seventeen years old. They can't always be calm cool and collected but on the other hand, Sasuke is constantly analyzing the situation and Neji never let's his guard down, I rather like that we get to see those different sides of them :)

I'm definitely interested in how this is all going to turn out and how you're going to deal with Sasuke because while you're taking up the story before he really starts to go off in a rather bad direction like he did after killing Itachi, he is still a rogue nin and I wonder if there will be consequences to that. At least at this point in the manga he seemed redeemable, so there's hope for him.^^ I'm already thinking about the next update, can't wait for more ^_^

well that a pairing we don`t see often. Good start, Sasuke is a prick as ever. What does Neji as in mind or what was he thinking? He won`t be able to keep Sasuke in a leash forever. Well, atleast not without helping hands. Update soon.

I liked this chapter. too short for my liking but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

ShikaNeji, eh?? LOL that's my OTP, but Sasuke is cool, I can let him borrow Neji for a while.

blushing requires that one is actually sensitive and maybe self-concious in a way. well, not Neji. ;)

but in total he's really in character in general. Can't wait to see Sasuke's.

(1) It was a great start, I'm looking forward to a story about these two :) One of the things that stood out was the portrayal of the characters. Sasuke with his realizing that he was running away but could recognize that and wonder if it might not be time to change. Then team nine, Gai and Lee are easy you just have to be as outrages as you can and that's them in a nutshell but then you also have Neji who is quiet and contemplative and definitely doesn't miss any little detail. Lastly I really liked Tenten, too often people write girls as obnoxious (i know some of them can be extremely annoying like Sakura) or they're nonexistent but you managed to show her pretty much just as she is :)

Out of all the things he was expecting this probably wouldn't have even made the list, I can't wait to see how Neji deals with this development. Honestly I've found a little too often that some of the fanfic on this site have been so outrageous that it's almost too ridiculous to read, which is saying a lot since we're dealing with a fantasy world of ninjas ;) but this seems to be well thought out and written so far :) I can't wait for updates and to see how things develop ^_^ sorry for rambling on, it's like I just can't stop myself^^

The first scene was very good!
I liked the way you wrote it and it described the situation well.
