Your use of the present tense in writing is weird. It makes for a poor story telling device. You should really try to write in either first person perspective or third person perspective. Otherwise what ends up happening is a written story that comes off like you're writing down things that are happening as they happen.

Also, its a small irk, but really, ANBU don't make great bad guys. They work directly under the Hokage with loyalty to the Hokage and the Hokage alone. They are like the Hokage's secret police whose identities are only known by the Hokage. You can't just have them working for the council with no regard for anyone else.

I hate to say this, but when I read this story I can't help but think "ugh...gay." And I don't mean that in a derogatory anti-homosexual way, but in that "this is way to sappy and ridiculous" way. And is there a reason Naruto has such a vagina in this? He's so weak and neutered in this story that you might as well have just made up a new character because there is no way the person I'm reading about is the same strong, stubborn-minded character that shares the same name as the series.

Blah, now I'm just ranting. Overall I think you've got a good idea, but you need to work on it and work on developing your ideas and characters. Its fine if you want to change up the characters but you have to establish and develop your changes before they become acceptable to the readers.
