Even if Sasuke finds Naruto it will not necessarily help. I mean because of using Sasuke as an link to reality Naruto is actually fading from the real world. The obsession with Sasuke and him rescuing him has become an another reality entirely to Naruto. Even if he rescues him, the fun-looking happy Naruto will never come back.

Even if he rescues him, when Naruto sees him it will snap him back to reality and because of the trauma he suffered he will either retreat into his own head, suffer and horrendous emotional break down or became emotionally unstable, lashing out over any touch and contact. Tsunade's healing won't help with the emotional damage, only physical.

I suggest Sasuke isolating Naruto in the Uchiha compound and trying to soothe and nourcher him slowly to slowly accept touch until he can accept help from Tsunade or others.

They could even move to Suna to protect Naruto from the council.

I really like the story so far, you're doing an awesome job! Can't wait for the next chapter!
