It's weird to think that Neji and Shikamaru are not as in love as I thought they were. I think they care deeply for one another but I think if someone more compatible came along that they would part and I never thought that about them before the last few chapters. Shikamaru especially since he worked so hard to get Neji seems to view him as more of someone he needs to help with Sumiko than someone he personally couldn't live without and I don't know if that is because he's Shika or because of something else. Neji's comments to Klenneth were very telling as well. It kind of makes me sad tbh. I thought that their love was rings and forever as Sumiko put it. You have really made Sumiko grow on me considering how much you made me hate her to start. I'm glad that we didn't go there with Klenneth and Shika, I just wish that Shikamaru had been strong enough to stand his ground or sure enough to tell Klenneth no. I hope that Shikamaru gets stronger, I think he along with Naruto are the heart of this story and I need him to be able to withstand whatever comes at him both physically and most importantly emotionally.

That is so sad. I never even considered Klenn's age retard- which is odd because you made specific mention of his probable age and the fact that his age retard was still holding earlier in the timeline. It would damage Shika to know that he is going to loose Klenn- especially in the light of all the recent events. Maybe they could clone him and if they figure out a way to maintain reprint Ranmaru's memories they can copy Klenn's memories over. This is of course assuming that he did not decide that he was tired of being lonely and was ready to pass on. But personally, I do not believe he is that way. He strikes me as someone who would cling to life (and whatever new idea, friend, lover, expansion of humanity) fiercely and would fight to continue on and see the beauty of the universe as it unfolds.

What he needs is a family to humanize him so more and help relieve some of his loneliness.

Please don't let Klennethon take Shika!!!! For some reason, I still don't trust him. Sure he's helping Uchiha out, but he's so obsessed with Shika that he might just be willing to do anything. LOL I trust you, and I appreciate all your hard work on this story.
