I would never of foreseen this...I actually did not know that O was so dangerous, I thought Pein was the more powerful of the two. I just thought O was some sick, evil pervo, not that he scared Pein and his people. I'm really curious on how everyone is going to deal with the people that kidnapped Haru and Shika, although I did like In and En, I'm not at all sure I care for Kono...she seemed to be very cold to me and Hana seemed blindly loyal to her. I'll wait and see. How is Naruto going to react to this choice, since he wasn't mentioned in this chapter, i'm wondering if he was consulted on this decision and how he's handling it? Things have definitely become more interesting, I can't wait until the next chapter!! Also, I love kakashi's revenge on neji with coffee for Shika, at least their keeping their sense of humour :)

This Shikamaru-kidnapping Arc is killing me emotionally. Shika is such a tragic character. I love Shika and his relationship with Naruto. It's special.

wise choice on the Zetsue's part. Didn't realize the Akatsuki had been so badly reduced. It was a goood idea to get Konan out and thank goodness for Hana's good sense. will Hana get to meet Kiba?

Alright! Kakashi throws a tantrum, gets a thorough talking-to from Neji, and then makes coffee for Shikamaru.

Fan-tas-tic!!! I loved it! My our boys have grown into some fine young men:) Neji was on it! Yea Baby! Sasuke to for knowing how important this was to Shika. And not taking crap from the music teacher .He gets a Yea Baby to! Konan-san is with child! I'm kind of surprise but not:) After Haru I knew she had enjoyed being around him. Looks like another exciting adventure a head! You get a 'Yea Baby' to! ^_^

Once again, your brilliance is shining! Thanks for a wonderful update. I love the passion of your characters. I can't wait to see how you integrate these troubled refugees into the ever growing family!

Wow. I thought that was incredibly brave of Zetsu to reach out to Shika for help for them all because of the undertstanding and friendship they had built. Then to find out that Peins plan all along was for them to beg Sanctuary/Mercy From Sasuke that just floored me (like Zetsu) they kidnapped their children! if it hadnt been for the intervention of a deva one of the children would havebeen in a bad situation when they were leaving false trails. Pein made Shika do things that he didnt want to do by making threats to Haru's person, although they were inplied threats but threats still the same. The whole thing just leaves such a churning your stomach that you can feel sasuke's and Kakashi's anger. And Wait, Has ANYBODY told Naruto? Sasuke agreed to this because he realized that Shika came to him out of loyalty to him. Yes he could have done it behind his back but its a good thing that he didnt because they would have showed up at tarraside anyway. But what does Konan hope to accomplish with this? come to sasuke and ask him to put them up? Take care of and provide for them? For how long? ask sasuke to take them in? for what? Uchiha doesnt owe them a damn thing. so what if she made their stay pleasant while they were there, they all still had a part in the kidnapping and now they want their VICTIMS to "put them up" because their plan backfired on them and one of their associates is after them. Pein put Sasuke's and Naruto children in harms way. didnt care if they got killed as long as he had shika's and sasuke child. believes their hybrid children are souless and now he wants sasuke to show HIS woman and HIS child mercy. Because Its his family. Thats why. He did none of this to Sasuke's own Family!!! And How can Shika not See this!!! NOt see How it will make others feel? What will happen next? Pein will show up next asking for a place to stay and Shika will sing camp fire songs with him too? AAARG!!! I know I love a story when Im either laughing, cooing giggling or making pirate sounds at the computer and I have been doing that every Wed and saturday for a couple of months now with this one. I love it. I cant wait to see whats going to happen next week!!!!

OMG!!!! upon a re-read It seems that Itachi did kill Orochimaru at his hideout. The reason that Kabuto was so hell bent on retrieving the body was so that they could have the memories uploaded into the re-print that is degenerating now!!! the one that the ORIGINAL Orochimaru is going to get distorted memories from when he comes out of stasis when he meets up with pein. The orochimaru thats been running around all this time is a re-print and nobody knew. I could be wrong but who cares you are briliant! amazing!!!!beyond compare!!!!! All that and a bag of chips! ;)

Woohoo! As well written as always. I can't wait to see what you have in store next. I've started reading the story from the start again, cause I can't get enought of it. :) Haven't been this fixated on a story since the Harry Potter series. Thank you for all the work you and smallfox have put into this. It really is a great story. Aloha
