High adventure, sex, and interesting bioethical issues - who could ask for more? It's quite a contrast with the chapters concerned with home life and the domestic arts (optimal nursery design, sewing, fashion shows, folding clothes in the closet). I don't think you could do that in commercial fiction, but I like it all and it keeps me guessing.

I wonder how Konan will turn out? I'm not sure what crimes she, rather than her prints, has committed. If your prints do something bad and you didn't intend for them to do something bad (unlike Pein), you can't be guilty - that would be condemning you on the basis of your status rather than your acts. Still, Konan is really hard to like.

[Chapter 55] What a pleasure to watch Shikamaru and Haru move in their new environment! And Kakashi and Iruka did good with Naruto's anger. That little scene right there illustrates part of what is so special about this series. The characters are so tuned to one another. They are more than family; like an idealized family really.

Will you consider making a pdf available of this series? I would so love to have it permanently available to read and savor slowly again.

Alright! Shikamaru and Haru's effect on the Akatsuki is akin to Naruto's effect on Nagato in the manga, which totally works! I hope they make it back home in one piece!

This chapter feel like a filler, but it's good, filler helps to move the plot along. So many problems that Sasuke and Naruto had, it's a good idea to use Iruka's point of view at the start of the chapter, it's kind of refreshing. I can't wait to read the future interactions between Shikamaru and Ranmaru, if you'll write one. Man, reading your story made me ponder on a lot of things, I almost feel like reading something required for my course, except I enjoyed this very much, so thanks for writing and making me a happy reader indeed =D

When I watched the episodes of Naruto with Pein I got the same impression. That Pein has lost so many love ones that I think he didn't know what happiness felt like anymore. You captured that feeling for me. Pein seeing the other two happy not knowing what he should make of that good or bad. Haur is a chip off the old block. He has Konan wrapped around his little finger and with Shika on Zetsu. That will be Peins down fall those two geniuses! Yea! There is howling in the bed room again:) Oh Great Queen of the Naruto Universe have I told you how much I love your story lately? Queenie I love your story ^_^

Wow! So much has happened since I've been away. It made feel happy to see that you didn't eliminate Ranmaru from the story even if the Uchiha's Ranmaru was the one killed. I hope you get to return him to Uchiha and Konohamaru. There is so much more that I don't know how to continue...I am glad that most of the children were returned but Naru kills my heart. He still blames Sasuke and worse Sasuke blames himself. It is all so sad. Everyone is hanging in there and I really hope that they get to get them back soon. I don't think I could hold on for much longer. It kills me to have them like this. At least Haru and Shikamaru are making great progress with the members of Akatsuki even if Pein is suspicious. I am waiting for Pein to find out that Shika told the truth about KD and see what he'll do but I hope that doesn't make a hasty decision about eliminating both of them. Also, I want him to meet Naruto and see the impact Naru has on him. I'm dying fir that chapter! It is going to be awesome! I can hardly wait! Thanks for the amazing chapters and take care! *Hughs*

Hi, very interesting, the last few chapters had me all worked up, with Ranmaru's death (bless him) the kidnappings and more plot devices revealed, you had me gripping the edge of my seats (I hope I used the right expression) I would have put a smiley here if not because I'm sobered up with the angst level in the chapter but the hope that I felt that the clone represented balanced it out. Very good can't wait for more =D (sorry cant help the smiley force >.<)

I'm so glad Haru and Shika got to see each other, this was such a good chapter although i was crying at the end of it...I adore the children, watching them grow, laughing at their antics and misbehavoirs, cheering them on when they manage challenges and learn new things and now one of them is scared and hurting..which is new and upsetting..I really hope someone bashes Pein's head in...and if I forgot to say before...So completely happy than Ranmaru's head was still alive and back with a body...which..wow..never saw that coming...I'm still really worried though.

yes go go haru, konan may be trasformed in an ally. I love this story. update soon please !!
