I note with keen interest the intuitive way your characterizations shift from dominant to submissive in a given story or scenario; it's fascinating. Additionally, I interpret Itachi's therapy for the pain he had endured (pardon the pun) as finding another similarly lost soul and being a source of something for him that he is desperately in need of himself. It's...Chironic, one of the most compelling demonstrations of it that I have read in any fanfic.
D/s is about power exchange, but I didn't see an exchange of power here. Even though Itachi made the first move and called all the shots, both parties equally and willingly gave in to a need to submit to something greater; consequently, it put them both in charge in different ways.

I adore the way you write, I really do. This was the first thing I read when I woke up and it was just perfect. Your stories and characters just suck me in completely. <3 Never stop!

You know, this was a great little one shot. I liked it a lot. It gives Gaara and Itachi more of a personality.
And seriously, two weeks was killer. -luffs on-

Okay...so that's Itachi with Kiba, with Kimimaro and now with Gaara. The pretty one gets around, doesn't he?
This was beautifully emotional. I don't know how you do it.

Waiting and waiting and waiting for your updates on the M universe and you hand us one that clutches at the heart..I never could of imagined that scene between I & G and all its done is intrigue me so much more when it comes to their storylines... I love how much jody means to gaara too, its so heartbreaking, their devotion to each other, one wholeheartedly and one unknowingly. :)
