Naruto paused in thought. He had never had to think about if he wanted to do something before, Kiba had never asked, just assumed and that was what he had become used to.

But! The rest of the chapter made me happy. :) Poor Naruto, not wanting Sasuke to look at him, but I can understand it since this was probably Sasuke's 1st sexual experience of any kind, let alone with a man, so he was probably worried about scaring him off. Next time, eh? Hehe, and Naruto still hasn't gotten a good look at anything besides Sasuke's face. That's good since like I was saying before, I didn't want Sasuke's looks to be the thing that made a difference between them. Seems it was recognizing the sincerity of Sasuke's feeling that really did it, which I love. I also love their embarrassment in not wanting to be caught by Kakashi or Sakura, and the incredible awkwardness when they are. (I hate, hate, hate fics where the characters enjoy flaunting their PDAs. That's just gross in real life.) Kakashi handled the situation exactly as I'd expect--smoothly, but with some perverted glee. I like Kakashi's role in the story, as the cool mentor figure (which is why I disagree with NiftyPhoenixChild that Kakashi needs a love interest--he's great exactly the way he is. I'd rather his romantic attachments stayed mysterious because it makes him cooler that way than if we knew he was the dutifully tamed partner of X character.)

I've been reading your story for a while, but before I give any praise I have to say that the first few chapters' formatting needs to be edited. I love the Gaara/Neji coupling!! They are among my favorite characters. Also, don't you think that Kakashi needs a love interest?! Still, to add a bit of humor to the story... don't you think that giving Sasuke a few... nocturnal emissions when he sleeps beside our lovely Kyubbi vessle. Just mentioning it though-- although it would make a dear reader happy!!!! Also!!! Your writing is amazing and I look forward to each and every chappie that you update!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry for the rant! Just read all the chapters of this in one go! I really like this fic. It's cool how you avoided some big pissing contest confrontation between Kiba and Sasuke. I hate that kind of thing--even if Sasuke loves Naruto, it wasn't his place to confront him. Kiba was Naruto's problem, and he (sorta) dealt with it. Now Naruto's problem is Sasuke! But he should see that Sasuke is a much, much better problem to have!

As for the latest chapter, I kept expecting Sasuke to get the once-over from Naruto while they were in the hot springs, especially afterward when he got out to get changed, but it was Naruto who got eyed instead! LOL. Well, that's fine; it would be bad if Naruto starts changing his mind about Sasuke because of his looks. He should change his mind about Sasuke because Sasuke makes him happier than blasted Kiba! (And then, when their relationship finally does change, then Naruto can take a good long look at Sasuke in all his glory and realize that no, Sasuke really doesn't have anything to be ashamed about, and he definitely traded up in boyfriends!)

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay Naruto's TRYING >.> He best try harder, 'cause I don't think I can wait much longer for Sasuke and Naruto lovin'. Guess I'll have to though! Patience is a virtue..? So I'm told. I like Kiba! Not this dickhead Kiba, just normal Kiba. But I'm surprised at how little him being a tosser bothered me. I don't think you could have picked anyone better to do it, though.

Sasuke is lucky Naruto is willing to try with him. Hopefully Naruto doesn't try too hard, too quickly because he runs the risk of turning Sasuke into a rebound. Naruto would never do that intentionally, but Sasuke is perfect rebound material since he is comfortable, safe, and good for Naruto's ego. But it was sweet how quickly they fell asleep in each other's arms. :)

Well, they're both being selfish right now. Sasuke is being selfish because he wants to continue running away from Naruto, even though he knows it's hurting him, and Naruto is being selfish for not giving Sasuke the space he needs while also trying to ignore the whole situation (and Sasuke's feelings). In short, they're both acting out of their own convenience.

But I am proud of them for at least *attempting* to do the mature thing (Sasuke for trying to move on from his feelings when he's been rejected, and Naruto for not holding grudges and trying to move forward with Sasuke), even if they're not quite going about things in the best way.

Truthfully, I don't think Naruto can deal with the Sasuke situation until he gets some closure of his own on the Kiba situation. Sure, he's effectively been wised up and knows it's over, but I think there are some things he needs to get off his chest to Kiba. After that... well, I can imagine Naeuro might be gun shy about plunging into a relationship with someone else, or putting his friendship with Sasuke further at risk unless he's certain of his feelings for Sasuke?

Gah. Hopefully Itachi will give them enough breathing room to start working things out before his next nefarious move!

heeheehee.... Naruto the life size plushie! I love it... I want one. I hate Kiba for making things so hard for Naruto and Sasuke but I love the reality of Naruto's feelings.

I absolutely loved this chapter. Im so glad that Naruto is trying things with Sasuke finally. I think it is time for both Naruto and Sasuke to be happy for once. Keep up the great work.

This was a VERY frustrating chapter... I still want to see Shino & Kiba's confrontation...

At this point I don;t know who to be angry at or who to be sad for! :(
