Sai is the best thing about this story. I love the fact that you're using him both as comic relief and to help point out things that the supposedly more socially-aware Naruto and Sasuke aren't getting. One minute he's doing something idiotic like kissing Naruto inappropriately, and the next, he's hit the nail on the head about Naruto and Sasuke's body language. I like the other characters in the story very much as well, but it's Sai I like best because of all the great narrative functions he performs. :)

This story is pretty good, I really like the concept. Naruto and Sasuke are always interesting but I have to admit that the person who really got me hooked was Sai, you wrote him fantastically well. I'm really looking forward to the next chapter, it will be REALLY interesting to see them try to work together, and what they come up with!

Love it! Thank you for keeping the characters in character, but also keeping them real, and not over-the-top. Now once did you have Naruto mention ramen, or have Sasuke call Naruto a dobe! Those things are too played out, but the characters mannerisms are easy to picture in the minds eye. I can see Naruto trying his best to be humble, and Sasuke being a little worried about what people think of him, and Sai is just acerbic enough to buffer the two. LOL I really enjoyed reading this chapter and I look forward to many more updates. Thanks for all your hard work!
