I like your story, but there are some things that buffle me:
1. Sasuke is taller than Naruto and always was (I don't get it way so many make him shorter and slender than Naruto)...
2. You made Sasuke first to be the dominant one, but later switched and made Naruto to be the top (I'm sorry, but I can't see Sasuke as sumissive; reather I see them switch)
3. I can't see Sasuke as abusive...

I absolutely loved it! Got so sad when it ended because a lot of the story got left out. It was very entertaining and kept me reading to see what had happened. Great job. Thank you!

Whoops! The formatting is all screwed up. :( (The words don't come all the way across the page.)

A few months back, I read a very sad article about two brothers who were in the same situation as the one in this fic; unfortunately, the healthy brother died on the operating table trying to donate part of his liver to his sibling. I thought a lot about their situation afterward, so I really enjoyed reading this fic since you articulated some of the things I was thinking about. I couldn't help but grudgingly agree with Sasuke when he said that it was easy for Naruto to beg Sasuke to make the sacrifice for his child, since compared to Sasuke and Sachiko, he wasn't putting his life on the line. As much as Naruto tried to reassure Sasuke about aftercare and whatnot, he knew very well the chances were good that Sasuke would, in fact, die on the operating table--that was part of the reason why he agreed to Sasuke's terms, wasn't it? He was rolling the dice that maybe he wouldn't have to go through with his end of the bargain.

Really liked how you structured the story as well--as another reviewer said, if we hadn't first witnessed the tender scene between Sasuke and Sachiko, and the happy domesticity between Sasuke and Naruto, it would have been hard to root for a happy ending between all of them. It's a shame you don't write the Naruto + Sasuke pairing more because the story showed them in two extremes--a happy, functional domestic situation, and an extremely dysfunctional one--and their dynamic was equally interesting in both. Even when Sasuke was in control, I never felt like Naruto was fully a victim since he still had some fight in him, and even when Sasuke had become nicer and gave up a lot of his control to Naruto, he was still willful enough to keep Naruto on his toes.

I was sad when the fic ended because I wanted to read so much more in this highly charged universe! What was it that made (formerly straight) Naruto begin to desire Sasuke for real? And something I was really wondering about: what about the operation? I assumed since the baby was happy (and healthy-seeming) six months later, that they'd had it done and it had been a success, but I couldn't be sure since Sasuke had said that the baby was "a life that he was willing to risk his own to protect," not that he'd already risked his own life (past tense), or that he would be risking his own life (future tense).

Just loved this fic! Very unique premise. Thanks so much for sharing. ^___^

That was so good, ClaireBear. I really thought that Sasuke was going to unwillingly donate cuz he was a prisoner ready for execution or something. Then as I read more, I thought somehow Naruto would be the unwilling sacrifice cuz of what Sasuke said about the mother maybe making Naruto agree. I don't know. I really enjoyed reading both the separate times in their lives, the sequence u had it in. How we could see their relationship develop with such loveable, playful smex between the two and teaching Sasuke how to take care of the baby. That was so sweet. I definitely enjoyed the ending. Such a bright future for the baby with loving parents.^^ I really enjoy reading ur stories.X3

OMG That was really great! Those plot bunnies had you good this time. I love the fresh idea and it was great to watch the relationship progess. It explain enough to following along with the story, yet it wasn't drawn out. It flowed great. The feelings came out perfectly, and I really felt for them. Awesome attitudes with both guys. And who wouldn't want a naruto slave? :) Thank you!

I quite liked this. Of course part of the time I was really hating Sasuke and if not for the beginning I would not have been able to like them being together. Would have liked to see how Sasuke's & Naruto's feelings changed for each other but other than that this was really interesting and different. Thanks for sharing this.
