Hmmm... as I see it, the problem with these two is that they don't quite understand each other's side of things. To Naruto, Sasuke's leaving was a rejection of him, but to Sasuke, his leaving was a rejection of Konoha.

I think getting Sasuke to understand Naruto's side will be much easier than getting Naruto to understand Sasuke's side. For Sasuke, all he has to do is spend some time with Naruto and if he's patient and listens, he'll get how hurt, lonely, and rejected Naruto felt when he left. But that's just understanding the feelings of one person; Naruto has to understand Sasuke's feelings about an entire village, which is a much greater task. When Sasuke tried to explain how he felt about Konoha and why he left, Naruto's response was "It’s a shit reason Sasuke. Because I love the village and you don’t? That’s why loving me wasn’t enough?” He's stuck on the "loving me wasn't enough" part. I think Kyusuke gets it (as much as a 4 year-old can) since he saw how much the loss of Sasuke's family still affects him and brought him that photo album. And I think because he heard all those rumors about Sasuke, Kyusuke also understood the unfairness of how Sasuke was being treated, which was probably why he got so distraught when originally he thought Sasuke was only getting a time out.

Naruto disappointed me in being only somewhat angry about Sasuke's arrest, but truthfully, you can't really expect any other reaction from him since he has a lot of faith in the village and in its ability to do the right thing. Naruto just assumed Sasuke would be treated fairly. But the village isn't a totally nice place. Sasuke did some shitty things, but the elders let him come back with few consequences only because of the sharingan. That's not something a completely just governing system would do. Kind of like how Naruto ignores Sasuke's flaws because he loves him, I think Naruto also ignores Konoha's. I guess what I'm saying is, Naruto won't really be able to move on from the hurt of the past until Sasuke can understand his pain enough to convince him that his leaving wasn't a matter of not loving Naruto enough or of Naruto doing anything worng, etc. And until Naruto can understand Sasuke's pain enough to see that Konoha isn't totally a good place for Sasuke (they DO want to use him after all) and that Sasuke did make something of a sacrifice in coming back.

Heh. Sorry for the TL;DR

WoW!! Those two chapter were wOw! Kyu getting kidnapped!! Daddy Sasuke fining him and yesss putting the hammer down:) Even if he hadn't killed them I don't think they would have talked about who hired them. I definitely loved how Naruto was telling Kyu you are my best friend. That was to cute:) Oh and Kyu saying he loved Sasuke and was his daddy mad another sweet moment. For me you have brought this story to life:) Sasuke is a bastard and Naruto is so forgiven and their son in a combination of both! I simply love it ^_^

I have to say that I would have done what Sausuke did in regards to Kyuu but I would've tore his hind end off after that because he shouldn't have wondered off like that seeing as he knows that ppeople don't like his dads for some reason.... but it still worked out in favor of Sasuke sooooo...... YaY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It will be interesting to see just how Sasuke woes the Uzumakis, though I think he has already done so with Kyu. How will Naruto's remaining suitor react?

I cannot wait to see Shika's reaction to the request and what those three come up with. If it were me I would have Sasuke being just a little more touchy than normal. Not groping Naruto or anything, but standing just a bit closer than he needs to, touching (casually) Naruto more than is necessary, and implementing 'family nights' where they would have dinner or whatever together as a family so they could both spend time with Kyu. Sai is analytical and gets most of his info from book and would probably respond to the threat by trying to force more time and attention on Naruto to compete and drive him slowly up a wall.

The best part? This is something Sai would do all on his own so no blame or fault could be placed on the trio of masterminds. Added bonus is that Kyu would get to spend more time with both of his parents and developing a stable, structured home life and Sasuke would be getting Naruto slowly accustomed to Sasuke being in his personal space and touching him again. Underhanded methods FTW!

I really love the way things are being handled by father Sasuke. We've just seen the progression of the rules Sasuke has laid out and the effects with Kyusuke. Kyusuke is so adorable, the rules keep him just like a kid should be. The plan for them to get together and break up Naruto and Sai was a great conclusion to this so I really don't think you've gone off track too much if at all. Remember, we're seeing Kyusuke and Sasuke relationship bloom into that of father and son. This chapter was great!!!X3

NO, NO, NO! You're not off track at all! the goal is to get Sasuke and Naruto together, right? So keep at it, you're doing a great job. By the way, I like your Sasuke, and his growing fatherly relationship with Kyusuke.
