Woohoo!! I really enjoyed this chapter, I loved the bonding and understanding. :D I'm happy Sasuke was able to start to share and talk about his family. I hope Itachi is alright though. :D

Thank you for the story. These chapters were very.. nice. Time moves smoothly and chapters are pretty eventful. I only wish for more & more Sasuke-Naruto personal interaction, as it's not possible for them to compete right now. It'd be interesting to know what's going on in Sasuke's country, too, as there must be some consequences to the massacre, not to mention Itachi's fate..
As someone mentioned above, Naruto's a Keeper, demon's vessel. How do they communicate?
A very interesting plot, and Naruto is really an enigma, as a prince and a person.
Please continue! Thank you.

A well-written, entertaining story with an actual plot? What in the hell is something like this doing on AFF? (Yeah, I said it.) Seriously, this is one of the only stories I bother coming to this site for. I like that there's a certain amount of maturity in the tone of this story. No one is going around acting like a panting teenager who can't keep his/her hormones in check. I appreciate the fact that Kakashi and Iruka, for example, are portrayed as actual MEN who speak to Naruto as if he is a fellow adult, exactly the way that advisers to a prince should behave. It would have been all-too easy to rely on fandom cliches and turn them into a gay couple with Iruka standing in as the hysterical, pearl-clutching mother, and Kakashi as the overly-permissive, perverted father-figure. I'm quite glad you didn't go there. The characters have more depth to them the way you've written them. Certainly Naruto comes across as a person I can take seriously the way he authoritatively stood up to the (legitimate) anger of Kakashi and Iruka once they found out about what Naruto did for Sasuke. (At his position, he certainly would've looked weak if Kakashi and Iruka had gone all "doting parents" on him.) My only suggestion for you is not to use the "Naruto's P.O.V.," "Sasuke's P.O.V.," etc., tags in the middle of the story because it's awkward to read. (It almost acts like an author's note in the middle of the story.) Instead, when a point of view switch occurs, you can indicate the scene change with a line, but more importantly than that, use a good transition statement that lets us know we'll now be following the perspective of a different character. (For example, immediately starting off with a sentence telling us what the new character is thinking or doing is a pretty easy and direct way of telling us who we are now going to be reading about.) Looking forward to the next chapter!

Thanx for a glimpse of a mystery that is Naruto :) And for answering some of my questions.
It's strange that Naruto and his kingdom are so 'foreign' to Sasuke.. after all, they're neighbors and as royalties, they were supposed to keep some kind of contact, if only for the sake of diplomacy or courtesy. Yet they're complete strangers, never heard of each other, any rumors or else.. "Freezing winters and cool summers"? Sasuke's definitely somewhere from Russia-like country! (I'm Russian) Somewhere near my region :(
Hinata & Naruto's behavior shows that people tend to expect their kindness returned. People who have never harmed anyone have nothing and no one to be afraid of..
How could some people seriously suspect a half-dead person of attempting a murder and "taking the kingdom for his own"? Tsunade could have confirmed his wounds (lethal wounds) weren't fake or pretence..in fact, he died :)
I liked the sparring episode. Of course, Sasuke's itching to practice, he's all for action. But the scene turned out to be sad.
So, Naruto's body's a vessel and Kyuubi - his keeper. Interesting. What demon is his "darker side"? No wonder then, why they don't want to accept him as a king, or why he can have some "trouble" finding a spouse. Who'd want him? He's a deadly walking threat.. the sparring went a bit too strenuous and it provoked that power, what about more dangerous situations, then?
Those mercenaries - are they like hunter-nins in Naruto's original universe? Ha, why should Naruto care about a dangerous foreign prince if he's surrounded by assigned assassins, day and night, wherever he goes?.. sad.
Thank you for the chapter, Are you really The Element Child? :)
