That was one of the most wonderful stories I have ever read. Like Mercedes Lackey's Vanyel that I have read over and over. That was just awesome. The story progression and pacing were perfect and I loved how the dreams and real events were interwoven. And the hints that Sasuke was open to Naruto like when he held his hand... and how his past reality seemed blurred and the future seemed so realistic. And how Sasuke admitted that his dreams don't stop with a kiss? lol yum. I just loved everything. Breathtakingly beautiful.

Oh. My. Gawd. I love this - the confusing aspect of the dreams, and the way that the whys and hows of them isn't the main focus. Great story, and I loved the way it was written! I hope there's some form of epilogue, but I'd certainly be content if there isn't :)

“Interesting,” Sasuke said softly, almost against Naruto’s mouth. “My dreams don’t end up for quite awhile after the kissing.”
“Fuck,” Naruto gasped, finding a better angle.
Sasuke hummed again, “Yes, I wake up after that.”
^Bwahahaha! Great job on the story. It was sexy and mysterious and kept me interested the whole way through. If there's one thing I have to criticize, it's that we didn't get to know Sasuke all that well, either in the past or the present--he was mostly a guy Naruto kept dreaming about kissing. I felt like I understood Naruto & Sakura (and their relationship) much better in this story than I understood Sasuke, or his relationship with Naruto. Were Naruto & Sasuke ever friends or just friends-in-common with Sakura? Why did Sakura & Naruto lose track of him? Apart from when he'd started having the dreams, did it bother Naruto any that he'd lost track of Sasuke? Up until the very end, Naruto seemed totally OK with the fact that he'd resolved never to track Sasuke down or try to get reacquainted with him. Was that just a front, or was their past relationship just that superficial, or were there significant hard feelings on Naruto's part toward Sasuke? While I really liked this fic, I feel like I could have enjoyed this story even more if there had been a little more clarity to Sasuke as a character.
