Life always seems to get in the way, this is the first time in a little bit that I have been able to read so I was able to catch up. I am sad to see Neji and Shika split but understand. I can't wait to see what happens next. Thank you for your efforts, I appreciate that you keep writing even though you feel like you need a break. Thanks.

Haha, I have to admit that it feels good to have Madara realizing that his attempt failed. Even though his plans for Shika are really worrying. I hope his greed will make him mess up.

I also loved the scene with Shika and the triplets, seeing him telling his stories again. It was really sweet.

And poor Haku. I feel so bad for him. I hope he'll make it through.

As always, loved reading this and looking forward to the next chapter!

This was such a perfect chapter. Between Madara's evilness, the touching scenes between Sasuke, Naruto, Shika, and the minkies, and then the last heart-wrenching part. Ugh I just want this Orochimaru print gone. Preferably very painfully and bloody.

I'm glad you are inspired again. I vow to review (or even just message randomly!) every week until Leader is finished!

Oh SQ that was so sweet and sad at the same time:) I felt choked up when Papa sat and watched Tsu-chan sleep:) Happy that everyone is still hanging in there. So old man wants a girl to be his assistant huh? Well it sounded like there could be a plant in the mix of applicant?! God I hope so:) Plus he wants to turn Shika in to centre. That bastard! My heart went in over drive when I heard about Haku-san. He's tough but everyone has a breaking point and I sure hope he can hold on a little longer. Itachi-san and Kis will be there to save him soon I just know it!!:) SQ I'm so glad to hear you're feel the wave of words once again:) That calls for a 'Yea Baby' ^_^

Chapter 39. Madara is certainly a villain. I hope Shikamaru stays with Sasuke and Naruto until they return to Tarrasade. I hope Sasuke and Naruto are able to rescue the children soon before Orochimaru, well, you know.

Anyway, keep up the awesome work, Mannah, and I look forward to the next chapter.

39. Ok, I never considered that horrible option. I thought that Shika is too valuable to simply give him away. But Madara knows he can’t have him… It seems that the only option to save him would be to (aside from killing Madara of course0 to make him Sasuke’s beloved companion…. Can a person have two companions? I wonder if something could bloom between Sasuke and Shika if Naruto died.
But I hope that he will not, not in the story at least…..
It’s hard to wait the whole week, but it’s worth it.

Very worried about Shika, to say he should never of sworn to Uchiha was such a shock....and Sasuke trying to act normal for the children around him. I really hate these bad guys...hate them!! To know what that sicko pervert is doing to Haku, its just heartrenching, and I am worried how much worse its going to get for his captives. I believe, I am ashamed to say, that this time I really, really want the honor of Uchiha to be set aside for bloody and feral retaliation...please forgive me, Uchiha-sama..lol :)

Another excellent update. I was glad to see that you left us with a glimmer of hope. As long as the children are able to still laugh, then all hope is not lost. I look forward to the next installment. Thanks for all your hard work.

been trying for 2 day to review but the site wouldn't let me. anyway, i read all of your stories , originals and naruto fandom and you are an amazing writer and story teller, i know i suck cos' i usually don't leave reviews even though every chapter has a great impact on me so i'm sorry, i'll try to do better, i guess i just think that my comments would be lame and therefore better not to be written but i get how it would feel for me to even get one "wow, this chapter was great" or just a "hello, i'm reading your story" so hi, i'm reading your story and since i met everebody on the Silver Leaf they have been my crew, family, partners througout their journey so please never feel discouraged 'cos you are briliant and if you ever write something outside of fanfiction i would really really like for you to sent an email so i can read that too. so, i'm very anxious for the next chapter, madara contacting centre, orochimaru print being a sadistic monster, Dan and them with the toad hybrids, Itachi..what is gonna happen next?
